Very cool place with delicious food and friendly, helpful staff inside Nashville’s Assembly Food Hall. In the multi story food hall, you can get gourmet grilled cheese, poke bowl, pizza, drinks and desserts… but the outstanding favorite for me is the delicious Chilangos!
Several varieties of tacos on the menu, and quesadillas with different meats or veggies, but you can’t go wrong with los nachos! A heaping pile of tortilla chips layered with cheese sauce, verde salsa, pico de gallo, and your choice of meat. It is very filling and flavorful, with a medium degree of heat from the diced jalapeños in the mix.
Very friendly people delivering fast service. Even with a consistent line of people, I think my meal took 5 minutes or less to arrive. Also the Food Hall is an enjoyable environment to find seating inside or outside, in a quiet spot or in the midst of people mingling and visiting. The Assembly Hall offers a convenient spot for a variety of food choices, even if one person in your group loves Mexican food, like I do, and someone else wants to try authentic pizza, or an Asian meal, etc. An enclosed seating area with plenty of fresh air and a team of hardworking staff do a thorough job keeping the place clean!

A lot of visitors stop by this taco shop. Multiple staff members were working in kitchen, preparing the tacos and serving the order quickly. It’s take out only, but there are sitting area available in common space right in front of the store. They had couple of registers open so lines were moving fast. The menu had chicken, beef, pork, vegetarian, and birria tacos. The tacos were little bit pricey, almost $5 for a single taco with each topping adding additional cost from a quarter to fifty cents.
We ordered the chicken and beef tacos, with melted cheese. They put plenty of protein in each taco. Both the chicken and beef had good flavor. It also came with two different sauces. The taco tortillas were little bit thick and hard, would have preferred them to be softer. Overall the tacos tasted fine.

The tacos were a bit disappointing. They felt dry and the shells were quite hard, which made them difficult to enjoy. The flavors were okay overall, but nothing really stood out. It wasn’t a terrible experience, just average tacos for me.

The tacos were served hot and fresh, and you could tell they put care into every detail. The salsa had a real kick, and the portion size was just right. For a spot inside a busy food hall, service was fast and friendly.

I really liked the Birria tacos, that are only served on the weekend including Fridays. The birria broth, which has a well balanced and umami flavour, coupled with the richness of the taco is a hit. Friendly and attentive staff.

Some of the BEST Birria tacos I have ever had (it’s worth noting they only sell birria on the weekends). Cooked perfectly with delicious flavor. Waited around 10 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. Will make sure I come back here next time I’m in Nashville!
