Hubby & I came for Taco Tuesday. Ordered chips & cheese dip and a total of 11 tacos. Spent about $28. The tacos were really good and moist and not shredded chicken, but real chicken we both loved! The live DJ was good. Felt like we went on a quick vacation lol. The waitresses were really nice and attentive. Wait wasn’t long; about 10 min with 3 groups ahead of us. Parking was tight but we made it work. The ladies bathroom was clean My new fav taco Tuesday spot. I’ll definitely be back!

Went today for the first time and will definitely be back! The service was exceptional–friendly, attentive, fun. And the food was delicious. We got the grilled shrimp tacos and shrimp quesadilla. Yum. The margarita is homemade and strong like we like them!

A little expensive, but the portions are huge. Kind of an out of the way place but worth stopping by.

Chilango’s Seafood is a small, locally owned spot tucked into a very small group of businesses on Williams Boulevard. Parking isn’t huge, so I could see that being an issue on a very busy day, but it wasn’t a problem for us when we went for lunch on Saturday.

We knew it was a local Latino restaurant and were genuinely looking forward to it. The food lived up to that expectation. One of us ordered the shrimp quesadilla, which was huge and packed with shrimp and cheese. It felt like a great value. It came with two salsas on the side. The green one was very hot, likely habanero, and excellent. The other salsa was good as well, just less intense.

The other dish was a grilled shrimp taco on corn flour tortillas. Simple, well done, and flavorful. It came with their Chilango salsa, which is slightly sweet and reminded me of the tropical sauce at Poncho’s restaurants originating in West Memphis, Arkansas.

I also had a house margarita, which was very good and a little dangerous. Smooth, but definitely stronger than it tasted.

Overall, the prices were great, the service was good, and I’d absolutely go back. If you like supporting local, Latina-owned businesses and want solid seafood and Mexican-style dishes, this place is worth a visit.

EDIT: Went for a second time and got the Aquachile – huge portions full of shrimp, cucumber, spicy green salsa. The picture should make you hungry!

This is a mom and pops place. Not a chain gourmet restaurant. Come for some delicious tacos plus a michelada with your favorite beer or a yummy mango margarita! Enjoy the music on Tuesdays and karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays. They also have delicious seafood. This isn’t a place for a quiet dinner. This is a happy spot to enjoy real Mexican food. If you’re from Texas you will understand, the vibe is very much like Houston taqueria restaurants.

Great food, music and atmosphere, customer service not bad but it could improve. The only bad thing is the small parking lot. And you can park in any of the surroundings without getting a $90 boot in your car.LOL
