Pre-ordered two sets from their four course meals. It locates at the corner of two busy streets, so could not find any street parking. There is a public parking garage one block to the west. Arrived after half hours of promised time. Upon walk-in, saw a line of bags with tags on the shelves to the right hand side. The dining area was about half seated. Nobody talked to me for five or so minutes, so I had to get attention from a staff behind the counter off the kitchen area. Overall, we felt these being over-priced. The portion of kimchi and cucumber was great given as appetizers. Two small dishes as entree were not enough for a meal. The spring rolls were over fried so too hard and too dry to bite. The orange-ish chicken was also very dry. The soy glazed brisket only had three strips but with an egg. The desserts were in thin layers. Had to get more food elsewhere to finish our dinner.

We were so excited to eat from here on our trip to Bethesda Row, so we ordered to-go and made the trek back home. Upon arriving home, we found a bug in the sauce of our food. I tried to call the restaurant to discuss, but they refuse to answer their phone during my multiple calls. Avoid this place. Gross and unhygienic. Very disappointing.

My friend and I enjoyed lunch of shrimp garlic dumplings and the cumin lamb stir-fry for me and the half-a-cado salad and smashed salmon bowl for her. The 3 small shrimp garlic dumplings came in a delicious soy based sauce – I would have happily eaten more such dumplings and wished I had something more to soak up more of the sauce. The cumin lamb stir-fry included lots of lamb shreds plus one larger piece of tender lamb that was easily pulled apart with chopsticks. The half-a-cado salad included cucumber and jicama along with avocado slices, and was topped with 2 crisped slices of lotus. The smashed salmon bowl included one large-ish piece of salmon with lots of other veggies in a tasty sauce.

Absolutely delicious. We ordered the fried rice with shrimp..lamb noodles and wings. Its a very DIY restaurant though in terms of service but the food came out quickly

Really nice place with great dishes! The walnut potato salad was a uniquely good dish, very glad to have tried it.

We ordered the lamb and bulgogi bowls. These were tasty and peppery. These were served in bowls with chopsticks. However this is where the Asian aspect ends. While the dishes look familiar, the tastes were neither Korean or Chinese, certainly not fresh and vibrant from what one expects of Korean foods. Finally $18 to $20 entrees are overpriced, even for West Bethesda.

So this place might be great but we didn’t really get a chance to evaluate that. We ordered two items from the vegetarian menu for takeout and two orders of dumplings. One of the vegetarian items was missing (they forgot it) and the vegetarian rice cake dish had beef in it so the vegetarian had literally nothing he could eat. The chicken dumplings were pretty good though. Overall, however, this was a big fail.

My wife and I have tried anything and everything on their menu other than the pork stuff and tell you what. This is fusion that never disappoints. It’s often the case that restaurants boast about fusion but are unable to get it to .. fuse, if you know what I mean. Love this place.
