Let’s see where to start. We will start with the entrance of the restaurant. Walk in looks nice as you step inside it’s like a furnace in there at a what possibly felt like 95° inside the restaurant. Was there waiting in line to order and started sweating. The lady got there we ordered the buffets so we could try it out and low and behold all they had was canned sodas and bottled sodas. The fountain machine was “out” so for 5 people ended up paying $111.27 for 2 adults and 2 teens and one child. We paid it and went and got a table. Went to the buffet area and first pan I opened was empty. 2nd and 3rd pan I opened empty as well. I got some green chicharrones sauce and a little bit of what looked like maybe asado and some runny beans and rice. There were 4 pans that were empty so I sat down with my plate waiting for them to refill the Buffett while I ate this plate. 25 minutes into eating this plate and half way finished because honestly didn’t have the flavor of a Mexican restaurant the pans that were empty were still empty. I went and got some menudo and that pot was clean and empty the only thing was the charro besns, but I didn’t feel like beans. All while we’re sweating like we’re in a sauna cause of the heat. The food was ehhh wasn’t as great as some of the videos we’ve seen on a social media page. As far as the atmosphere itwas ok the heat was terrible. I don’t like when they don’t have fountain drinks because they charge an arm and a leg for bottled drinks and canned drinks too. If you wanna pay $22.25 per person and you don’t mind the Mexican food then go for it. I myself won’t be going back anytime soon since they didn’t have the Buffett trays filled and didn’t really seem like they wanted to keep them filled and the heat was the main factor as well.

Food was way better than expected. My husband had the buffet and I had the flautas. So good! My daughter even had the enchiladas and ate them. Wish we would’ve gotten checked on a few more times but other than that it was good. For reference we came in around 7 pm.

Food was fresh and good… Menudo Pozole was great Chiie Asado etc was good will definitely recommend…Restrooms were extremely clean and look NEW… Beautiful Restaurant very clean…

I was so excited to hear Odessa had a Mexican food buffet, we had to check it out! Biggest let down I ever experienced. The name of the restaurant is chickingrill and I am recommending to stay away from the chicken. It was so dry, it sucked the moisture outta my mouth. What really made me upset, my wife said they put fresh chicken out…… It was even worse. It was so bad I felt like talking to the owner but I didn’t even waste my breath. Omggggg the menudo!!! Outta the the can come on. I hate I wasted My money.
