Chiki Churros absolutely delivered tonight. The whole spot has that bright pink, neon-lit, late-night dessert vibe that just makes you smile when you walk in. It feels fun, local, and honestly kinda iconic for Central Ave.
Huge shoutout to Fred, who took care of us the whole way through. Super friendly, patient, and genuinely happy to help us pick what we wanted. You can tell he really cares about making sure people have a good experience — not rushed, not generic, just solid hospitality.
The churros came out fresh-fried, warm, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, dusted perfectly with cinnamon sugar. They tasted exactly how churros should taste: simple, classic, and addictive. And that chocolate dip? Dangerous in the best way.
The shop itself is spotless, the menu screens are easy to read, and you can literally watch everything being made right behind the counter. Between the ice cream options, the sundaes, and all the add-ons, this place is a little dessert playground.

After enjoying some delicious Mexican food at Casita Taqueria, we had a serious churro craving that we KNEW we needed to fix.
We went straight to Chiki Churros, a spot that is known for delicious freshly made on the spot churros as well as ice cream, drinks and milkshakes. They have a tv screen that leaves you drooling (like an eye appetizer – eye-petizer?) and while they’re made and prepared right in front of you, your nose ends up going through a food comma with the cinnamon and sugar aroma while your eyes feast on all the toppings and fantasize about when YOUR turn to eat churros will be.
Because we were so stuffed from our food, we only opted for the 6 pack of churros so we could enjoy one each with the two dips option. Naturally we chose Nutella as one of them and Dulce de leche for the other one.
The churros were nice and warm and fried to perfection while the nutella did its thing a coated the outer layer of the churros as they got dunked into that little pool of delicious hazelnut spread and went straight to your taste buds so they can do a little happy dance.
We loved our little dessert night cap at Chiki Churros and all the bright and colorful walls with churro wall of fame decor. Fun little spot to get your dessert fix, next time would love to get the mini churros with toppings – looks soooo good!

These churros are next-level amazing. Crispy on the outside, perfectly soft on the inside, and made fresh to order — you can literally taste the difference. Not greasy, not overly sweet, just pure churro perfection.
The flavors and dipping sauces take it over the top, and the staff is friendly and fun, which makes the whole experience even better. If you’re walking around downtown St. Pete, Chiki Churros is an absolute must-stop. Worth every bite and then some. I’ll definitely be back (probably sooner than I should ).

They should put a faster saleswoman, I think they lose customers because of the slowness of the service. It took me about 20 minutes to receive an order, and they have good quality products but the service is extremely slow, And many people even standing waiting without being attended, I also understand that there was only one person attending to the business

Absolutely worth the pit stop if you’re in the area! Loved the fact that it was made to order and the crunchiness off of the churro fries was amazing. The dulce de leche dip was my favorite. Definitely support local! 🙂

Came for a late night sweet treat and left with the craving satisfied it’s hard finding the Cookie Monster ice cream anywhere and we found it here ! The churros were great ! The ice cream amazing! The guy who served us was amazing and so helpful . We used to go to another ice cream parlor but this might’ve replaced are usual spot !

I love the service here Fred was supper nice! The churros smell amazing. I haven’t tasted them yet but I’m sure they taste good. The price is reasonable too. And the vibes are so nice!! There is also a nice seating area outside (very beautiful at night). They were quick to get my churros.

The churros themselves are very good and fresh. We stopped by after lunch for something to-go. The sauce to dip in was also amazing. The shop itself is pretty cute. A little dark and overall small for staying in. Service was fine but nothing spectacular. It was our first time, and a little more involvement could have gotten us to try more items. I would probably visit again and order ahead for takeout.

So I gave this place three stars based on the service, the food and the shakes. The place was super cute and had nice decor. I love the vibe however when we went in the person that was sitting there literally was sitting there and couldn’t even get up to help us we had to go to them. The churros were little thick not light like they are supposed to be. The shakes were good really good.
