This little hidden gem is located on south clearwater beach nestled in right next store to The Gondolier. It is out of this world! My fiancée and I stopped by this little restaurant with tacos in mind and they are AMAZING!! We’re from South Georgia in a predominantly Hispanic town & we’re craving home. We ordered the Tino tacos do Discada and a Carne Asada quesadilla. Both were filling, fresh, juicy and overall 10/10s. We also got the Horchata and Agua de Piña that were great and fresh. The store owner was very nice and welcoming, he also made everything to order right in front and talked to us when cashing out. We were the only ones in and he talked to us about business being slow during the fall, which is horrible, but this is a restaurant that id recommend checking out!

Wow, this place is a phenomenal, authentic Mexican gem! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the owner was incredibly friendly. The food is the real deal; you could instantly tell this place was the real deal as soon as you walked through the door. We started with the chips and queso which was home made chips hot out the door and delicious. For our entrees, my husband had the carne asada cheese fries and the carne asada tacos and I had the chimichanga. The meat was so tender and flavorful, and every dish was bursting with authentic Mexican flavors. Everything is perfectly portioned to get the perfect bite every time. This is the best authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu!”

Truly terrible experience overall. For starters we order birria tacos and guacamole. The birria tacos were just fried STEAK tacos. Do not be fooled, they promote it as birria and it is not. The consome looked like tomato soup. If you’re looking for authentic birria you won’t find it here. Second, the “guacamole” is literally a pico de gallo. If you’re thinking the mashed up avocados that is not what you will get.
And lastly, TERRIBLE service. The guy was so rude when we confronted him. Mind you, my boyfriend is Mexican and I have had my share of authentic Mexican food.
The man basically insinuated my boyfriend is stupid. My boyfriend has an authentic birria truck and we were just hoping to get a nice experience on our vacation around here. For a hefty price tag of 20$ for birria and 15$ for guacamole be aware! To be honest; the guacamole is probably pico de gallo from a frozen bag with pieces of chopped up avocado. The guy was so miserable serving us in the first place.
