NOT your China wok Chinese spot. This restaurant is the FRESHEST and highest quality ingredients and service. I never had Chinese food before bc I’ve only had msg. We were greeted warmly and given free samples of their fresh made juice which was delicious. And you can clearly taste the difference here. We got a variety of food to share and sample and everything we got was ten out of ten delicious. Our server was phenomenal. The meat was high quality. Everything tasted home made. Not heavy or over sauced and salty. It’s a very healthy spin on Chinese food. And I love my egg drop soup and they created this egg drop soup with ginger and garlic which was outstanding. They added veggies and spices. I was shocked this place was empty. I’m glad I found my new hidden gem here. Love love love !!!! I wish I had more stomachs to keep eating.

Our server stated that they were a Chinese restaurant first, with a few Peruvian-specific dishes. So, instead of American-influenced Chinese food, it’s Peruvian-influenced Chinese food. Their menu has the “classics” – fried rice, lo mein, sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, etc.
Extremely friendly, attentive service and amazing food. I was so blown away after our first visit that I ordered delivery the next night and it was just as great. Their Aji Pollero sauce (“yellow sauce”) is a game changer.
The restaurant is clean and modern with plenty of seating. (Whoever is handling their branding is doing a great job. Everything from their menus and decor to their takeout materials is beautiful and consistent.)

The food is fresh, clean and delicious! Really glad this place landed in MJ. Definitely a great cuisine if you’ve never had Peruvian Chinese. Luis (owner) is really nice and wants you to have a great experience. Highly recommend!

My family and I had a great experience during our first visit. We had lomo saltado, tallarín with pork and chijaukay. Everything was very good! It reminded me of eating chifa in Peru growing up. For dessert we had crema volteada and picarones. Delicious! The staff was friendly and service was quick.
As a Peruvian I highly recommend it. We’ll be back for sure!

Don’t walk, RUN! This place is a MUST TRY! Our family happen to be in the area coming from the Providence marketplace, and we saw the “now open” sign so decided to give it a try. The staff was so friendly and checked in on us often. The prices are reasonable considering the portions. The best part is obviously the food – flavorful, fresh, and SO GOOD! We live a little ways away but I can’t wait to visit again!

Chifa Ya Chau is an amazing place to eat! We live next to this place so we had to try it day one! I was not disappointed at all!! We had the wings with Ya-Chau sauce, egg roll, chaufa clasico (steak), and an apple pie roll. All of it was perfect in flavor and very fresh. On our way out we got an Inca Kola to try, it was good as well!

DELICIOUS! Everything is made in house with fresh ingredients. Hand rolled egg rolls. Luis is incredibly gracious and passionate about his culture. We enjoyed our meals and some bonus items to try from Luis. You can dine in, drive through, or door dash. Can’t wait to come back.
