I was driving some weeks a go over route 6 mahopac and I notice a Peruvian flag at one of the restaurant and I said I have to stop one day…we’ll today was the day, they have peruvian Chifa, I is an authentic unique Peruvian food mex with Chinese food what was in peru for ever. It is delicious and here at chifa Peruvian is also very good. I am trying my chaufa especial..they have 25 chifa dishes on the board to make.
I am taking for my son a tallarin con pollo because he like noodles with chicken.
Every time I will come back around 728 route 6 mahopac I will stop and show you other dishes I will try.
I you are Peruvian in the area and know the word chifa, I don’t have to explain you any thing to come and try it.
If you always like to eat Chinese food, ry this chifa and you will come back here.
The owners are there and they are very nice and they speak Spanish, English too.

I’ve eaten here before without issues, but for the past two instances where I’ve visited this place, my order included undercooked chicken. The meat near the bone was still pink and gelatinous, which is concerning from a food safety standpoint.
The first time this happened was several months ago when I ordered the Honey Garlic Chicken. I noticed the chicken appeared undercooked but ate it anyways since I didn’t have a problem with their chicken previously, and after that meal I experienced digestive issues for a few days. At the time, I gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt since I’d had good experiences before.
A couple months passed, and last week I decided to try them out again because I did have good experiences previously, maybe it was just a one-off mistake. I ordered the Soy Garlic Chicken, and once I opened the box and proceeded to attempt to eat my meal, I noticed the same thing. Undercooked chicken, which I did not feel comfortable eating.
I stopped eating immediately and contacted the restaurant. I was told I’d need to return in person with my card for a refund, which wasn’t very accommodating given the situation.
I think I’ve learned my lesson, and will not be visiting this place again for their Korean Fried chicken. I’m sure they have other good foods, given that there’s supposedly positive feedback regarding their Peruvian dishes, but the Korean chicken, I’m done with. I hope with this review, they’ll take this seriously and truly cook their chicken more thoroughly and with more time, to truly let the meat cook and be safe to eat for other customers.

I had an excellent experience at this Peruvian Chinese restaurant. The dishes were incredibly authentic and full of flavor. The tallarín taypa was perfectly cooked and generously portioned, the fried rice was rich and well-seasoned, and the sopa wantán was absolutely delicious — comforting and packed with flavor.
You can really taste the quality and tradition in every dish. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for true Peruvian-Chinese cuisine done right.
