The onion blossom was not cut correctly and burnt with what tasted like old oil. We couldn’t even pull any petals off and had to use a knife to cut it apart. The meatloaf was burnt and soggy. The food was disappointing but the service and staff were great.

Walked in on the afternoon of February 2nd to a relatively empty restaurant. The “hostess” grumbled as she left her iPad in the booth she was glued to. We were seated after the family behind us advised the hostess we had been there before them. Our order was simple and should have been quick. One sweet tea, one water, a pulled pork sandwich with fries, and a Iroquois chicken with a ceaser salad and sweet potato. No appetizers. We watched as other tables, seated after us, received their food for multiple people. We patiently waited as other couples were seated on either side of our booth. When our food finally came, both dinners were cold. The cheese on my chicken had already solidified rather than being the queso it should have been. I did not say anything due to the couple behind us having issues with their food as well. We quietly ate what we could, paid and left. Not a single refill was offered. I will not be returning due to the staff being more concerned with their phones than the patrons. Highly disappointed, this restaurant was once a regular stop of mine, but it seems that over the last couple times I have stopped, those dinning are just an inconvenience for whatever the staff are watching on their phones.

After reading the reviews over the past several months and all were negative we almost didn’t stop. But there were cars in the parking lot so we went in. Our waitress was very attentive. Our food service was quick. We had alcohol and we were served those quickly also. My husband had a ribeye, baked potato and green beans. His green beans were cold. I had a chicken breast, baked potato and a salad… It wasn’t the best food we’ve ever had but it all tasted good. We are from Ohio and we’re very satisfied.

It was pretty busy for a Tuesday. Seems to be a regular place for locals. I got the Mingo chicken and it was…fine. I liked the food combination well enough. The salad has a few old lettuce leaves so I picked them out. Also, the mashed potatoes were tepid. Not the best dining experience but not the worst.

One star on everything, should have been zero. Waited 15 minutes to be seated. There were two customers in the dining room. Workers walking around ignoring us. Three men entered after we had waited those 15 minutes. Finally got seated by a very disgruntled lady. After waiting for a waiter for a very long time, we noticed the men who were seated after us already had drinks and rolls and a waitress was taking their order. Our waitress still had not come to our table. Staff and management is of the lowest quality.

Second visit here, during winter storm, one of the only places open with sweet smiling, welcoming staff, too!
Served super quick, appies out in less than 10 mins and meals out in under 8 mins, no joking. Very clean and warm atmosphere. clean/stocked restrooms, and food was DElicious!
Origina visitl: Was surprised to find this steakhouse in a remote region of the area. The service was great and the food really yummy. Plenty of parking and husband said bathrooms were clean. Overall thumbs up and will stop again during commute to and from Corridor G.

I work out of town. The one thing I have to look forward to is a good meal. I have eaten here probably 20 times over the last 6 months. So imagine my experience, when at first I tried to call them for over a half hour and no one would pick up. I went to the restaurant a quick drive from my hotel. I half expected for the place to be close since no one would answer the phone. It wasn’t. So I go to the carry out desk. Two girls are there cashing people out. Not a Hello, not a hi, not even a rude comment. Absolutely zero acknowledgement. Finally after the 5th or 6th person passes me asks if I’ve been helped and goes and gets someone. She takes my order but is not the carry out person so she has to get her to finish cashing me out. Says it will take about 25 minutes. I come back in 25 minutes, she informs me that the kitchen staff just started to cook my food that it never got started. Okay, is what it is. No worries I’ll come back in 15 minutes. So I come back in 15 minutes again not a single person greets me no matter how many servers walk past the carry out station. About a minute later a man walks in behind me returning food. After waiting another few minutes the carry out server comes out the doors on the other side of the restaurant and goes towards the hostess station. The man that came in after me goes over to her as they are walking back she sees me grabs the bag from him and gives it to me. This is where my problem begins. According to the food establishment rule which adopts 2013 FDA model Food Code, food that has been served or sold and is in the possession of a consumer and then returned, generally cannot be offered for human consumption again. Even McDonald’s follows this rule. Not only had it been served but it left the restaurant. I don’t know if these people have bugs in their car hepatitis B and picked their nose and wiped it on my steak. I order the Juliet Filet with white Mac and side salad every time with out fail. On top of all this what really made me very upset is there was no plastic silverware in the bag so here I am about to eat a salad with no silver ware. Every week my transaction goes off with out a hitch and the food is warm and delicious and I appreciate that. I get that there isn’t a lot of selection around here to choose from and between Monday to Wednesday this place dominates the restaurant scene, we should still be treated with dignity when we spend our hard earned money there. I took two bites of the steak one or two bites of the mac and cheese barley choked down the warm salad. I am pretty sure your carry out server lied and just gave away my food the first time and blamed it on the kitchen cause the food was definitely not fresh a problem I haven’t had any other time.

5-9-25 My group of ATV’ERS have eaten here a few times now. Food is good. This time, our server was good, but we’ve had some doosies. Biggest complaint is the servers. On our previous visits, the servers just didn’t seem to care. One had never heard of gluten-free. My burger was excellent this time! They don’t have the best fries, but have lots of other side options. You’ll have to give the Chief’s Roadhouse a try for yourself.

We ordered our food with appetizer, by the time we got it and waited for plates ( ten minutes later) it was cold but we still paid for it. I got my filet which was two pieces of steak not cooked right, took forever to get someone to help as I had to go up front and ask for a manager but the manager wouldn’t even come talk to us and we come here often. Guess not anymore. They did remove the filet dinner but the service and food gets worse with every visit. They said the steak had been butterflied which I didn’t ask for bc they only do that when it’s ordered well done. They said they like to butterfly the filet? What? I’ve never had that and I order mine medium. Also this place was dead and our server only had one table so what was so hard about even walking back to our table. Also my husbands food was cold! Also she said since I didn’t eat the sides she wouldn’t charge us. Are you kidding me??? I did want to do an update. I did get a takeout dinner tonight and it’s honestly amazing. Everything tastes great, cooked perfect, couldn’t have been better.

Steak and potatoes were overly salted. Food was cold, broccoli was rotten. Service sucked, 30 mins to get drinks, another 30 before order was taken. Steak was next thing to ground beef. McDonald’s is 5 star compared to this place. Onion Blossom wasn’t even peeled before deep fried. Will never recommend, nor will I ever be back. Waiter ignored us and the only time he was around was when it came time to pay the bill. STAY AWAY
