Food is always good. Been coming here for years! This last time service was not great! Waitress was nice and not that busy, another waitress was also working as well. We asked for simple things like more chips, refill on drinks, etc and the waitress kept forgetting so we ended up having to get up 3 times to be like hey remember us! Also found out they charge you for not using cash “non cash adjustments”. Didn’t see it posted anywhere inside its only on the bottom of your receipt after it’s already added in your total. Also portion sizes seemed smaller, stopped selling their 2 for 1 Margs to give their other drinks a “chance at selling” and now the cash charge. Maybe money troubles??

We are locals and sometimes you can grow “tired” of what is close to home. We never grow tired of Chido’s! We’ve been patrons since they opened and some weeks we are there more than once especially after a busy day of multiple kids in multiple sports. All of the food is great! The staff knows us and remembers my food intolerances. This is A+++ in my book. Although we have no complaints about any of the staff (they are all great) we especially love Levi and her personable service. She seems more like a friend now and we pick up conversations where we left off at last visit. She always checks in with my kids to see how their sports and school are going ❤️ even if the service wasn’t as good as it is, we’d still go for the food! Love Chido’s!!

Clean, plenty of free parking, clean bathrooms, pleasant staff and tons of seating make this an excellent choice!

Hands down the worst food I have ever had at a restaurant. The ground beef in all 3 of the items I ordered was ground so fine it no longer had texture or flavor. The chili in the chili relleno was cooked to point of being mush and flavor was completely lost. My taco was served in a flour tortilla and I prefer crunchy the waitress never asked my preference. So I complained about my food which a rarely do and our waitress heard me out but brushed aside my complaints claiming this is what their patrons like. I highly doubt that. Nothing about my entree was good so I ended up filling up on the chips and salsa. The salsa was so mild it also lacked the flavor of Mexico. With the exception of the chips my entire meal could have been eaten by a person with no teeth as it 100% lacked texture. The waitress did not apologize and charged us full price for a meal we couldn’t eat most of. Otherwise the service was unexceptional in every way. The atmosphere inside was cold and impersonal other than a few random splashes of color. We will not be back!

Second time to eat here in just a few days. Everything was excellent. First visit a slower time of day and great service. This evening a much busier time for them and everything was still excellent. Food, service and atmosphere were all great and we will return.

The food is fantastic! Despite the service, the food is the best in North Florida. I like the competitor down the street but Chidos is the outright best tasting and quality food in the area. The service feels spiteful but I am not sure if there is a language barrier but helping customers, especially with a smile , is not to be expected here. The restaurant is deceptively large inside so don’t stress if the parking is full. You will probably get in without problems. The interior is very clean and the bathrooms are usable but be careful on the flooring. A number of the flooring tiles is not set at the same height so I have watched people trip on the slight differences. Back to the food, it’s great! My very picky roommate won’t finish a taco salad at a Jax competitor but he did at Chidos. He even ate the entire taco bowl. I finished all my pollo can crema and my wife polished off most of the largest burrito seen on a plate. The chef knows their spices and how to use them well. On a date or a family meal, this place adds a special touch to the night with great food.

It’s a really big place. However there is no parking. Service was good. Food came out fast. Food didn’t have a lot of flavor. Cost 155.00 for six people.

This place is an absolute hidden gem! The food is truly phenomenal, especially the delicious vegetarian options and the mouthwatering birria tacos. Every dish we tried was simply amazing, and the margaritas were also a delightful treat. Highly recommend!
