Spending the night out at Long Beach, Wa on a Saturday. Most places had long wait times. Chicos was busy but not too bad. I ordered the medium Larry’s Special. (Canadian bacon, Italian sausage and pepperoni) Perfectly cooked and lots of meat. Atmosphere reminds me of the pizza places I grew up with but much brighter and vaulted ceilings. Definitely a place I’ll bring my friends to in the future.

I regret not coming here sooner! My husband and I have a small cabin on the beach and come up a few times each month from Portland. We consider ourselves pizza aficionados. When I tell you that this pizza is excellent. The crust is thin and crispy and has a great chewiness to it. The sauce is perfect and ample. The service is great. I highly recommend this spot. Can’t wait to come back.

We had been told mixed reviews by word of mouth by the locals and opted to try it out for ourselves.
The restaurant is clean and well maintained. The staff that took our order were friendly enough. However, the delivery of our food to our table could use a little work. There was no communication or plates given. We only received our pizza, but not the garlic bread and were left to wonder if it was forgotten or just delayed. We waited a few minutes and right about the moment we were going to inquire about it, they delivered it and just walked away. We still had to request plates.
As far as the food…well, if the crust got any thinner it would have holes in it. Overall, the flavor was good, but the crust cut the inside of my mouth. The garlic bread was not bread. Instead it was another paper thin circle with garlic sauce and cheese. We paid over 70 dollars for a large pizza, two beers, and something resembling garlic “bread”. Not the worst, but not worth the cost for the lack of quality. We are willing to try it again if a thicker crust becomes available.

Great pizza and great old school ambiance.

I used to like Chicos pizza many years ago, but it went downhill big time.

The current owner, Dr. Roof, bought it a few years ago and put a ton of time, $$, and energy into bringing it back to the “good old days”.

I ordered a hometowner with pepperoni to go.

It looked and smelled great.

It was the Chico’s pizza I remember only a bit better.

It has a cracker crust, which was great, and a generous portion of cheese and Canadian Bacon.

If you are looking for super solid, thin crust pizza, you will love this place.

Well done, Chicos.

Came in and was immediately told I could only get my pizza to go. All good! We had 6 adults ready to order 6 salad bars 6 or more beers. But you only wanted to sell me pizza to go. I figure it would have been better to sell us some salads and beer while we waited for our pizza but not even suggested by the friendly staff. It did take someone from the back to yell at one of the 5 people who just walked by us to help us to take our “to go order only”. I guess maybe thank you for saving me another $100.00 I would of spent on beers and salads. Must be more affordable to throw away or keep it nice fresh for tomorrow’s customers.

We had eaten here before but with the new owners & remodeling we were excited to give it a try when they reopened over the weekend. It was well done on the inside – spacious, clean, organized well. The salad bar was an awesome surprise as it’s hard to find salad bars as an available option. Our pizza order was taken and it was not too long to when it was being delivered to our table – although it was pretty busy (right before dinner rush on a Saturday). The pizza is the same – best marinara and tasty crust that I have ever had on the penisula. Service was top notch! We will be back and think you should too!

I must first identify myself as an east coast pizza snob. No one, in my opinion, in the PNW can ever beat a true, blue NY pizza. So, it is with this biased filter I leave my review.
I’ve lived in the area for over 30 years and have loudly railed against Chico’s pizza. It had the taste and texture of old cardboard and I could never understand how anyone could eat it. You were better off with a frozen Digiorno’s! But, knowing they had a change of ownership and hearing the place was cleaned up, we decided to give it a try once more.
The cashier greeted us warmly and gave us time to figure out our order.
The renovations are nice. It was so nice walking into the large, well lit restaurant. It’s clean! That’s nice, let me tell you! The windows were clean, the carpet was clean, the counters were clean…such a nice clean place! (Did I say it was clean?) The salad bar also looked clean, fresh with lots of variety to pick from.
We decided on a large half Hawaiian, half something with meat for my carnivore husband. We also got two small salads. As previously stated, the salad bar looked healthy. The lettuce was a nice mix of different, fresh greens. No bruised, brown or wilted lettuce. Lots of accoutrements to choose from. We sat in a roomy booth and ate our salads, and the pizza arrived in a timely fashion.
The crust is thin and crispy. No NY folding is going to happen with this pizza, but that’s ok. It was sturdy and held the toppings and cheese very well. And the toppings were generous. It reminded me of Shakey’s, to be honest. The only thing missing was the balloon man with cardboard feet. (If you know, you know!)
My one criticism would be the sauce was kind of flavorless. It wasn’t bad….it just needed to be a bit more with some flavor to it.
Also, there was no air conditioning…not sure if it was broken or if they don’t have it, but it was pretty warm in the restaurant, which wasn’t nice on this hot day, but I can see how it would be cozy on a wet, cold PNW fall/winter day!
Overall, we enjoyed the food. We will definitely come come back again when I’m not making my own pizza.
Not a five star, but a solid 4 from this east coast girl.

Went here during a roadtrip with a friend recently and the food and customer service was very below average. Our pizza was flavorless and cardboard like. The garlic bread was also flavorless and mainly dust and cheese. Our drinks were also flavorless, which was sad to see considering it was only lemonade… how do you mess up lemonade?

The worst part was that we found two pieces of hair in our ranch that was served with our salad. Very disappointing. Our booth was also very dirty and the Parmesan cheese shaker on our table looked moldy. The service was an awkward and rude encounter. Im sure their other food options are decent, but we will probably not be here again. 🙂

Thank you Chico’s. Every pizza I eat from Chico’s comes with more reasons why I will keep going back. I am a meat lovers fan and I couldn’t be happier with the crust the toppings and the consistency. Thanks to all the employees very professional and very good at what they do. I will be back.

Ordered pizza. Payment cleared the bank for the Long beach WA location. Because Internet was down, they said they never got the order. I showed them the text confirming the order and the order number . They tried to tell me that I must have ordered the pizza from a different Chicos. I live less than a mile from this location. I had to argue with them for 15 minutes to get them to make the pizza for which I had already paid more than $40. When your facilities are down, it is appropriate to take the customers word for it. I would never consider ordering here again.
