Walked into this place to get a small plate of veggies/salad and a piece of steak, but then decided I wanted two steaks. As I’m telling the woman what I want, the owner walks in and says it’s over 20 dollars for the two tiny steaks and 16 for one with the veggies. I asked if he was serious because I was in shock, and he replied “I’m dead serious” then walked away. I proceeded to ask the woman serving me if the owner was serious, and she said yes, so then I said keep the food, enjoy your lunch, and left. This place is a rip-off; go elsewhere.

All I can say is don’t do it. I work too hard to just give away my money. It was a disappointment from start to finish. And the overpriced trash comes with disrespectful service, too. I don’t leave many negative reviews, but this place deserves it.

This places is overpriced, the owner charged me $14 for a small plate of rice and steak. They didn’t even have rice they had to run to the next door deli. The price is determined by the owner not professional at all and greedy.

SUPER EXPENSIVE. Food is good, but prepare to take out a loan. I bought the small plate with only 3 pieces of plantains and the had the nerve to charge $15. I ordered the small plate, I mean small, like when you order small fries at the Chinese restaurant small. I still do not understand why it’s so expensive. I feel they don’t know what to charge. The lady kept looking at the menu for a price. I still don’t know what she was looking at, no where in the menu does it say small or large plate. They are charging more than in Manhattan.

It is too expensive, the owner determines the prices by looking at the amount of food and it is never proportional. They do not have a menu with prices. The same dish has a price with the owner and with the employee it is lower. They are not friendly, I was waiting for attention for 1 minute and I had to leave, three people talking and they did not care that there was someone waiting. I definitely do not recommend it, they take advantage of the fact that it is one of the few Hispanic deli in the area.

My office is right around the corner so I hear alot of great things about the food. I stopped in to talk to the owner to cater a party for me. I told him what I wanted and he gave me a reasonable price. He delivered at exactly the time we agreed and everyone loved it. So much food! Professional people!

Bummed they didn’t have spinach, so I got a bacon, pepper, and mozzarella omelet with a snapple and bottle of water. Omelet was overdone with bacon thrown on top, and cheese quasi melted with no peppers. All this came to $10.40. A bit disappointed. Food came out fast, though, and they had a pretty stocked buffet.
