Very disappointing experience. We ordered a double bacon burger with no cheese, a cheeseburger, chili fries and Cajun fries. The patties on both burgers were tough and very chewy. $65 dollars later, My burger came with no bacon, dark slimy lettuce that gave the meat a really bad taste, way too many onions, and had cheese on the bottom that looked hastily scraped off. My chili fries were abysmal. The only good thing we got were the Cajun fries. Bummed cus I really wanted to like it. The mural was really pretty and their staff is very nice!

If you’re heading out of Tahoe and in need of a solid breakfast, do yourself a favor and stop by this hidden gem. We were on our way back to Sacramento when we decided to hit up Starbucks, only to discover this spot serves breakfast too. I ordered the breakfast sandwich, and I’m not even exaggerating when I say it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Seriously, I can’t think of a single way to improve it. The sandwich was perfection, from the freshly cracked egg to the surprisingly flavorful tomato—something I feel is hard to come by these days.

The service was top-notch as well. I walked in, was greeted immediately, and my order was in the works as soon as I paid. It’s always a good sign when you can see the cook crack the egg fresh over the skillet. Everything was clearly made with care, and I loved the fresh, high-quality ingredients.

The restaurant itself was super clean, cozy, and had a perfect Tahoe vibe—lots of wood and that rustic charm. I arrived around 9:30 AM, and the place had a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere. If you’re in town and craving an outstanding breakfast sandwich, don’t miss this spot. It’s definitely going to be a regular stop for me on my trips out of Tahoe!

The couple was very welcoming and have great service. I had a cheeseburger and it was stuffed. Good amount of toppings and big patty. Tasted great and will definitely come back again. Churos was also good.

Food is pricey. Everything is individually priced. We ordered for 6 people, mostly children, and the total came to be 107$. It would have been ok, but like I said, everything was individually priced. We ordered 3 drinks. They include only 1 free refill. After paying, i thought wow the food better be good for this price. It honestly didn’t disappoint! The burgers were delicious, and my burrito was perfect. The fries were my favorite. I would say quantiy for price could be better. The grilled cheese sandwich was so soft and delicious. Churros & ice cream for dessert . Unless sitting outside in their one table, the sitting inside is not suitable for children in highchair. My baby was literally under the table. That made me sad. Parking is hard to find but it’s because of the area, I’m sure. I would visit again. We are from out of town. From reading reviews people complain about the service but the owners were pleasant and I saw them greet everyone

The food was delicious! Fries, crisp on outside, soft in the middle, lightly seasoned. Chicken tenders were juicy, big, meaty, and so good. Corn dog was good size, meaty dog, delicious coating. Bacon cheeseburger, fresh, large, juicy and well seasoned! Atmosphere, very pleasant, kind and courteous servers. We really enjoyed our meal. Highly recommend!

The veggies burger was tasty. The patty had a nice crisp to it. I didn’t get any thousand island, but the veggies made up for it. The lettuce, tomatoes, and onion looked fresh. Loved the bun. It was clean in the restaurant and the person who took our order seemed very nice. I would definitely eat that veggie burger again, probably in my top 1 or 2. Had a bite of the bacon cheese burger too. That was yummy.

I dont generally write reviews about meat, because im not usually a fan. But the al pastor tacos here were so amazing, we came here pretty much everyday during my 1 week stay at Tahoe. Theyre juicy, perfectly seasoned, and come with some delicious refreshing pineapple (i asked for extra pineapple and they added it free of charge!) and ofc onion/cilantro. The mango habanero salsa it comes with has a nice kick to it, but honestly the tacos are so tasty they dont need any salsa.

Very reasonably priced at $4 a taco. And the servers are super friendly.

Was craving a diner style burger and I luckily found Chico‘s burger. The hostess was very informative about the different options that were available as I had never eaten there before. She even suggested one of their hidden menu items which in my opinion should now be called Chicos burger. It was a double bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions and avocado, something that is not on the menu, but it was everything it could’ve been! A beautiful diner burger.

The fries were status quo. Nothing to write home about, but the vanilla ice cream milkshake hit the spot as a closer and I couldn’t have been more thankful to add it on.

If you’re looking for a quick bite and more so a burger, I would suggested to anybody to try out Chico’s! Might have to wait a little bit as the food is dynamite!
