Chicky’s is a hole in the wall place maybe three quarters of a mile from the Merritt parkway in Stamford and it’s worth a side trip! I had the bangin shrimp sandwich, and the shrimp were not shrimpy! Big and juicy and smothered with slaw and Russian dressing on a crisp and chewy hoagie roll (I’m from Philly, and that’s what we can them). The “Cheech” was a hit with my Italian girlfriend. Chicken cutlet, broccoli rabe and roasted red peppers hot the spot! It was a pleasant surprise to find this place open on New Year’s Day.

Not your typical Sicilian more roman style than Sicilian yet very tasty. Have been on a quest for the best Sicilian in the area and while this one had nice char, crispy crust and a robust sauce its more of a square roman pie than a Sicilian. Have nothing bad to say about Chicky’s as they put out some of the better pizzas and sandwiches in Stamford. Will return for their fantastic sandwiches and overall this was a good pie just haven’t found the holy grail of Sicilian pies yet…..

Stepped in to pick up a pizza for dinner after a long day of driving. After battling terrible traffic on the Merritt Parkway, Chickys offered respite beyond what I could have hoped for. Delicious pizza and even better service. While waiting for our pizza, we saw multiple people come in who were clearly regulars, and it’s easy to see why. Highly recommend!

The Upgrade & Cheech are the two best sandwiches in Stamford! Highly recommend to anyone that hasn’t been here yet. They are right off of High Ridge & also do a great job of catering for our work events. Thanks again, John! See you guys soon

Chicky’s Grill and Pizza is my go to place for takeout. This family owned restaurant really pride’s itself on not only making fresh and unique dishes but also making sure that everyone who walks through their door is treated like family!
Under the new management CGP has really revamped its menu. My personal favorites are the Cheech Sangweech and the West Coast Club!!! John is an incredible human who works endlessly to make sure the dishes that leave the restaurant are cooked with love. I recommend this spot to all my friends who are looking to have a great pizza pie and then some!
