I had the seafood platter and my mom had the hamburger steak. The stuffed crab was the best I’ve ever had and I’m picky. I love Chicks. Mom had sweet potato fries with her hamburger steak. She seemed surprised and commented that they were really good.

Do not let the outside of this business deceive you. It’s really delicious food, reasonable prices and friendly employees. We went in with a group of about 15 (!) and everyone got different things, ranging from chicken, burgers, shrimp, ice cream, milkshakes, etc. Every single person was happy with what they got and we can’t believe we’ve driven past this location so many times without stopping. Next time we’re in town, it’s a MUST visit!!

Food was NOT good…was traveling thru and stopped there to eat. I ordered a grilled Fish plate and a drink 20.00…grilled fish was maybe 3 fish stick size fish strips i guess, with no taste or flavor, the toast was drowned in butter, had a side of the fried Okra which was the only good thing on the plate. Lettuce for the salad looked old. I won’t waste another 20.00 on them Ever again.

Oh my gosh so good. Excellence is always found I’m the simple things exceptionally. Catfish po boy, no flare no extra just AMAZING bread and phenomenal catfish. So amazing, and then kings cake milk shake… Thank you, just thank you, the food was so good.

So far, I’ve had the Shrimp Poboy twice and can say it is the best in the surrounding area. The staff is awesome. Some are sweet, some are sassy, and they all are very good at what they do. I really like Chick’s…. This was under Trish’s reign.

Holy smokes… just go here. This is some of the most solid, least pretentious food I have ever encountered. Had no idea basic staples like peas could taste this good. We were quartered nearby as a result of the hurricane and this became my go-to place. Cheeseburgers… chicken fried steak… chili dogs…po’boys… malts… even their grilled shrimp was off the hook. And the prices are unbelievably reasonable.
I got to know a few of the customers who confessed they came there every day. I get why. As far as I am concerned the plate lunch was the way to go but everything I put in my mouth was excellent. And the ladies that work their were just delightful. I wouldn’t hesitate even if I had to drive out of my way to eat here. It’s that good.
I even hear talk they may try their hand t a Philly. ; )
