I love this place they have delicious crab fries! They give huge portions and I love the dipping sauce carriers. They put a little too much old bay on my fries but I guess it is better than too little.

On our vacation to OC NJ while on the board walk my family and I came across Chickie’s and Pete’s Famous Crab Fries and just had to try them. Needless to say I can see why they are famous and we weren’t disappointed, between the 4 of us we cleared a whole bucket. The kids and the wife loved the cheese sauce and once we ran out refused to finish the bucket until I went and got more. My son and I also had the boneless wings and I don’t know what the deal with those things were but my son who usually complains about foods that are to spicy cleared them out with no problem when I couldn’t eat anymore. The people who were working there were real cool to and I my son and I enjoyed chatting with them about our vacation while standing there eating our fries waiting for my wife and daughter and for our wings to be ready. Thanks for being awesome guys.

They took my credit card to pay for my food when other places were doing cash only. That is reason enough to give them 5 stars. I got the fries and wanted cheese to put on top and they were obliged to make what I asked for.

Had some of the crab fries and the fries themselves (aka the seasoning) were really good but the cheese sauce that came with it could’ve been a lot better.

Always a good place on the boardwalk for fries. Would give it 5 stars but someone was a little heavy-handed with the seasoning. Ocean City boardwalk

I liked the fries which were gluten and dairy free. The location was crowded by seagulls who are only worthy of extermination. This ruines the atmosphere of the place. They were quick and helpful though.

Despite its hype, Chickie’s & Pete’s falls short of expectations. While the ambiance may be lively and the service decent, the food quality doesn’t justify the steep prices. Overcooked seafood and lackluster flavors leave diners feeling underwhelmed. With so many other options available, Chickie’s & Pete’s proves to be an overpriced disappointment in the realm of dining experiences

Was there Saturday night, employees were dancing and talking to friends on boardwalk, no organized ordering in place, kid making fries was dancing and sliding around floor and singing , I guess from grease, waited 15 minutes for cold French fries that cost $10. Never again ! Get it together !!

Fries were fresh but not a big fan of the seasoning. If you like a strong old bay flavor this is your spot. Otherwise you might be disappointed
