This place is a must visit! People were so friendly and helpful with the menu, the jerk egg rolls were a great starter and the fried chicken was out of this world! My husband LOVED his chicken and pecan waffle!! I LOVED my half chicken combo!! Food was made fresh to order, crispy outside, tender inside. Amazing flavors and paired well with the dipping sauces! Definitely give this place a try!

I read somewhere that this joint serves “the best fried chicken in the world”. Boy howdy, this might just be true! Every bit of the food was very very good. The greens, the mac ‘n cheese, the cole slaw were great but the fried chicken remains the best I’ve had in decades. Everyone was friendly, happy, helpful, & pleasant. Even though we didn’t have dessert, they all looked so good — so a couple of them are pictured here too. We will certainly return and will bring family & friends.

So delicious. The fried chicken and fries are so finger licking good. They have a very nice variety of sauce they come up with. The boss sauce is , the celo is lip smacking good and creamy kinfolf goes with everything. I hear the ox tail is very good. Ill vote the fried chicken is probably the best around st.lucie county . The flavor lemonade they make are so delicious too. They have like 8 different flavors of lemonade. Can’t go wrong here. The staff is always amazing and always take care of me and my company.

This place is absolutely amazing. The food takes me straight back to my childhood — that good old-fashioned Southern home-cooked taste that warms your soul. My wife loves it too. If money grew on trees, we’d probably eat here twenty days out of the month — that’s the honest truth.
Every single staff member is professional, friendly, and welcoming. They make you feel like you’re sitting at Grandma’s table, not just another restaurant.
Our daughter joined us this last visit and said her shrimp was a little too salty, but she loved the greens. My wife, Evelyn, has tried at least six dishes and every time she says she must’ve been deprived as a child . I’ve only tried two, but my go-to is the meatloaf — it’s pure comfort, like walking into Grandma’s kitchen again.
Five stars across the board doesn’t even cover it — this is a solid ten out of ten experience every time.

Don’t be curious, give in and be glad you did. This place is amazing. Delicious chicken, local and love in their food. Definitely try the deviled eggs and soul rolls too. You won’t be dissapointed!

Traveled from Ft. Myers to this coast visiting a laboratory at FAU, and the lab assistant there highly recommended the fried chicken at this establishment. She couldn’t say enough about the chicken and waffles, as well as the soul roll.
I didn’t get the chicken and waffles, but I did order the fried chicken sandwich, and my wife got the chicken tenders. We also ordered a side of soul rolls and I washed it down with their delicious sweet tea.
The soul rolls were really good, and the fried chicken was juicy and so good. It tasted fresh and not old oil, which is too common with fried food in general.
Kinfolk was awesome. The service was awesome. My wife, her sister and boyfriend, and myself all really enjoyed our experience here.

We stopped in for brunch and had an incredible overall experience. Service was outstanding and I can’t say enough about the food. Thank you guys so much for such a fantastic experience. Oxtail and grits were out of this world. Catfish was the unbelievable and the collards were the best we’ve had in years. We got some peach cobbler for later on today and can’t wait to try. Thank you again, we will be back.
