5 stars all the way! I ordered a combo last night, uber eats I think I used, ribs, two pieces of white chicken, shack potatoes, I had to get a large side of coleslaw. Everything was perfect, the chicken was meaty, crispy, not dried out at all, the ribs, SWOON, fall off the bone meaty perfect, the coleslaw is the best and the potatoes are divine. I got two stuffed to the brim meals out of it. I’m just now finishing it up and thought to give props online. I’ve been eating chicken shack for 40+ years but Oxford does a particularly fantastic job with it all.

A good place to get chicken, now in Oxford!
We ordered to-go for for a small family dinner and were pleased with the food.
We had ribs, biscuits, chicken, Cole slaw, and potatoes. All of it was pretty good. The chicken wasn’t as flavourful as I was hoping but it was very juicy and the skin was crispy. The Cole slaw is finely shredded and I like that a lot. The roba were perfectly cooked but needed more sauce.
The staff were busy so not the friendliest but not rude at all, just busy and focused on getting orders out.
Overall we liked it and it will probably be a go to spot for chicken in our area.

We ordered chicken tenders meals. The chicken was very juicy, not dry at all. The potatoes were delicious! Perfect amount of butter! There is an area with tables to eat inside if you choose to. The staff were friendly; our food was ready on time as promised; and the restaurant was very clean. They deserve 5 stars . What more could you ask for.

I had a little trouble ordering online (My mistake) so, I went in to order my lunch. I usually ordered the tenders but wanted to try the chicken on the bone this time. If I have any complaint, it would be that I like more salt on my chicken but, realize that many people because of medical reson can’t have as much as I like. So I just added more. It took about 15 minutes to prepare but no problem for a hot juicy chicken. This is one thing that keeps bringing me back for many years now (even when I lived in Lansing), Of course I can’t say enough about the potatoes and the Cole slaw. Sometimes I make mine, but I like how fine theirs is chopped. Plus, they get to do the work for me. I am happy they came to Oxford, much closer to me so I can have it more often and of course leftovers tomorrow. One thing I notice was how clean it was. Even maybe the owner (?) watering the plants, made sure she wiped the glass on the door down when she finished the watering.

Lady looked right at me, ignored me completely, then when another person showed up, helped them first, then ignored me again. I was blown away. I never post negative reviews and I love Chicken Shack. This was inexcusable.

We’ve had chicken shack once before in Clarkston and it was so good. This time in Oxford, was not. The potatoes tasted like grease and had hardly any butter on them (which is what they’re famous for). The chicken tenders need some kind of breading. It tasted like they just took raw chicken, dropped it in the fryer, and over cooked it. Please send butter for the rolls too. It’s not available at the takeout counter. That’s a must.

I stopped in for my first time today and had 4 piece Combo. The food was excellent. The chicken was flavorful and tender. The cole slaw and potatoes were also delicious. The staff was very friendly. I’ll definitely be back.

Ordered 2 chicken breasts. Arrived at table small in size and flavorless. Need spices. 2 thighs were the same. Onion rings looked and tasted like frozen store bought. $25 for 4 pieces of tasteless chicken and onion rings we threw out. Will not return. Deleted the app from my phone.
