Good Bye KFC…If you like kfc Yoir gonna Love Chicken to Go. Now you don’t have to drive to Hermitage or Meadville from the Greenville area to get Excellent Take Home Meals. We were convinced that kfc had the best chicken around UNTIL we had the chicken from Chicken To Go. We will no longer drive out of our way to get a chicken dinner. Treat yourself to meal from them and see what you think. All I know is I would give them 9 out of 5 stars do to the fact that we even like the coleslaw and smashed taters and gravy also…GO AND ENJOY that’s our opinion make your own. Try it You’ll like it! Right Mikey..lol
UPDATE: I must be fair to all out there and say that we got an order of garlic and parm. chicken wings that weren’t the best in the world. It wasn’t the coating was bad it was the wings. They were tough and chewy not what I expected but since I made such a big deal out of our last order I had to pass along when someone doesn’t get it right. I guess KFC is still on the menu when in the area.

Bought 12 dozen of Garlic Parmesan 13 dozen of Ranch and 8 of the BBQ and they weren’t done all the way got home and had to put them in the oven too cook rest of the way . Normally I wouldn’t complain but they were still rubbery . And have a Tip too

Just moved to town and trying my best to avoid National chains. Dropped by here right before closing. The workers didn’t hesitate and started cooking my meal with a smile and a good conversation. Left with a bag of tasty food. The wedges are the best I ever had. A good crunch to them mixes great with the perfectly cooked chicken tenders I had.

At 5:05 I ordered 6pc tenders and Mac and cheese. I was told 20-25 minutes. I arrived at 5:30 only to be greeted by a very unfriendly girl, told her I called in an order, doesn’t say anything and closes the window. I waited for 15 minutes (now 5:45) before ringing the bell again to see what the status of my food was. She tells me (with much attitude and eye rolling) that it is just now being dropped in the fryer. I asked for a refund, meanwhile I hear a lady in the background yelling at me to “just wait a minute, the food is going to be done in a few minutes!” I get my food and go home at 5:50. While unpacking the order, I didn’t get the sauces I ordered and the mac and cheese is cold with undercooked noddles in cheese that smells rotten. I hear they are under new management – who I hope sees this and does something about the quality of their employees AND their food. We will not be returning.

Service: I used to go here before the new management. Last time I went was my last time. I order a fish sandwich, hushpippies, and mac and cheese on a Friday around 7 knowing they close at 8. They tell me 15-20 minutes. I show up after 20 minutes and the guy says that my food is almost ready, it won’t be much longer. He said it’s the first week under the new management they’ve been super busy. I’ve worked in food service before, I get it, no huge deal. He asks if I can pay and just wait out front in my car and he’ll bring the food out. I wait for 12 minutes and meanwhile I see people coming in and leaving with food. I also after 12 minutes see the guy I was speaking to cleaning up, so I go inside to see what’s up. My food has just been sitting there while one guy is cleaning and one lady is available enough to speak to me. I ask her what’s up and she asks the guy “mac & cheese, which one is this mac or mac salad” and the guy has to tell her which one it is and they just simply take out mac and cheese already packaged and put it with everything else and hand it to me. I’m pretty sure if I gave them more benefit of the doubt than I already had, I would’ve been waiting there until they closed with no food despite having paid for it.

I have long hair and didn’t have my hair-tied up when taking off the fish from the sandwich and reheating it in my air fryer, so when I take a bite and pull a hair out of my mouth, I think nothing of it and I tie my hair up. It’s happened before and I often just assume it’s my own hair. But never before have I found FOUR hairs in my food. It’s not as if I just got a haircut earlier or did anything with it to cause it to fall out more often, and it didn’t have the same consistency as my own hair. Nasty

Excellent staff and delicious food. Business is busy which means things are going well I assume! Low wait times during most business hours. Best fried chicken and seafood in the area for sure.

Excellent food and service! I don’t mind waiting a few extra minutes, the food is cooked/made fresh. The place is clean. The people are friendly and go out of their way to take care of you.

Called this place kinda last minute, they were very nice and the chicken was great. The tenders are really good. The only thing I wasn’t wild about were the potato wedges, but I was running behind to get my order, so they sat for a little bit so that could have affected it. Other than that, it’s a really great place to get chicken.

Excellent chicken, tender and juicy. What else can I say, if you want some of the best fried chicken you’ve had in years just stop in or call. Don’t forget to ask about there custom smoke cheeses.
