This was the first time visiting CSC. I hadn’t heard of it until my daughter suggested it while visiting. The experience was ok overall but a few things that were disappointing…the menu is confusing and when in a long line, it would have been helpful for the cashier to explain when I mentioned it was my first time there. I ended up regretting what I ordered and didn’t realize a side salad I ordered was completely not what I wanted. My fault, I know, but I was trying to be mindful of the long line and only one cashier. The fresh fruit was mushy/old leaving only half of the container edible. The manager was walking around greeting tables while we were dining. My daughter pointed out she had stopped by every table but ours. I realized it was true and was disappointed as I would have mentioned the fruit and asked questions to help when ordering if I returned. If a store opens close to my home, I will likely try it because the concept is a nice twist on a fast food sandwich. But not sure I’ll try this one again when visiting my daughter in Baytown.

This was my first time visiting Chicken Salad Chick, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. We stopped by for dinner, and from the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home. They were patient, friendly, and helped guide me through all the chicken salad flavor options. I went with the Fancy Nancy on a croissant and a side of grape salad, both were fresh, flavorful, and absolutely hit the spot.
I was also really impressed with how kid-friendly the place was. My kids found options they enjoyed, and the portions were just right. The relaxed, clean atmosphere made it a great spot for a casual family dinner. Plus, the pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the quality and generous portions.
All in all, it was a great first impression. Tasty food, kind staff, a welcoming vibe, and something for everyone in the family. We’ll definitely be back soon!

My first visit to chicken salad chick. New, clean, bright restaurant. I was greeted by extremely friendly and helpful worker who walked me through the menu and offered suggestions.
I ordered the Fancy Nancy (traditional chicken salad without celery) – I opted to have it on toasted wheat bread and the recommended loaded potato soup – yummy! I splurged and also got a huge piece of red velvet cake.

I was number 42 of the first 100 customers, I was up and in line at 7:30 and waited until the doors opened at 10:30. The wait was worth the wait and had fun with the other people in line. That had samples with a drone flying over with a photographer, people in line were also given a complementary Cousy. The first 100 people received a promo code for free sandwiches for a whole year!! Overall the place has plenty of parking and sitting on the inside. The staff were friendly and fun.

Ordered Fruity Fran salad sandwich there was no fruit in the salad on my husband’s sandwich and one tidbit of apple on mine. My grape salad was good a little yogurt, chopped pecans and brown sugar. The mac and cheese was alright. However the little cookie was delicious. I had severe indigestion from the chicken salad. Cute dinning area.

Chicken Salad Chick has typically been one of the few fast-casual places where we expect consistent quality, cleanliness, and good service. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the experience at the Baytown location today.
The counter staff was friendly and the food came out quickly, but the food quality was off. The chicken salad portion on my sandwich was inconsistent, the lettuce was wilted, and the tomatoes were overripe. I normally eat half and take the rest with me, so I removed the lettuce and tomatoes from the first half and ate it.
When I went to pick up the second half, I noticed three black hairs, approximately 1.5 inches long — one on top of the sandwich, one sticking out of the chicken salad, and one underneath it. While I understand this wasn’t intentional, it’s obviously a serious food-safety concern.
I brought this to the manager on duty. She offered to remake the sandwich, which I declined after pointing out that none of the food prep staff were wearing hair nets or gloves. When I said I would not be returning due to the lack of proper food-safety attire, she shrugged her shoulders, showed no expression, and turned away without saying anything. There was no apology and no indication of concern.
This experience raised concerns not only about food quality, but about basic sanitation practices and management response. Very disappointing from a brand we’ve typically trusted.
Sharing this for corporate visibility — the food safety standards and management response at this location do not align with the Chicken Salad Chick brand.

The lady was really nice. She let me try the chicken salad before I bought it. I don’t like onions or celery. And she was right they mince it so good that It didn’t bother me. They had perfect music too. I will be eating here a lot more often. Just loved it.

Had the opportunity to try a variety of their chicken salads at my job and let me tell you!! Each mix of chicken salad was unique and DELICIOUS. Couldn’t have made it better at home. I later went to CSC in the evening and ordered through the drive thru some more chicken salads for the fam and tried their Poblano Chicken soup. OMG 10/10!
