I had a side of Olivia’s Old South and the broccoli salad, both were great! I’ve been to Chicken Salad Chick several times and have tried many of their varieties, but this was my first time trying the broccoli salad. It was a pleasant surprise and definitely something I’ll be ordering again. This place never disappoints!

First time eating here, and wow—what a great experience! I honestly don’t know what was better: the food or the wonderful service. We mentioned it was our first visit, and the young lady, Melody ,working went out of her way to walk us through the menu board and explain how the combos work. She even let us sample items ahead of time, which was so helpful.
I don’t want to sound like a “boomer” (I’m Gen X!), but it’s rare these days to find younger employees in fast-food settings who are this engaged and genuinely happy to help. That was not the case here—she was fantastic!
Only downside? We live downtown, or we’d be here all the time.

I love Chicken Salad Chick! This location has never let me down. When I was working in the area this was my go to lunch spot. This place serves you guessed it, Chicken Salad and let me tell you. It is delicious. They bring out your order quickly and accurately. The place is kept spotless both the dinning room and restrooms. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone in Tomball.

First time eating here and probably the last — there was literally NOTHING to make me want to come back in.
I was running errands after work and my husband and I were tired of the regular burgers, etc. My husband mentioned that he wished that you could still get a good chicken salad sandwich. I suggested we try Chicken Salad Chick.
Walked in at 5PM on a Monday and there was no one in the restaurant. You’d think this would mean quick and accurate service. You’d be wrong.
The young man that took my order was almost lethargic. His eyes were half closed. He was either mumbling or slurring during our entire interaction. I told him he looked like I had just woke him up and he actually agreed with me.
My order was simple — a chick melt with Classic Carol and a bag of regular chips; and a chick sandwich with Fancy Nancy and some extra pickles. I had to repeat the type of sandwich and chicken salad at least 5 times (back to back). I have no idea what he was punching into the POS because he’d then look up at me and say, “What kind of sandwich?” And then ask again, and again, and again and . . . well, you get the idea. When he started reading the order back (finally) he had an extra meal in the order. I repeated again that I did not want a meal — one sandwich and a bag of chips and another sandwich with some extra pickles. By this time we’ve been at this for about 7 minutes. I finally pay and sit to wait. Still no one in the place.
He calls my name and hands me a bag with the chips and a container inside. I’m walking to my car and thinking, “surely they didn’t put a warm sandwich in the same container with the cold one,” so before I left, I checked — only one sandwich. So, I turn around and walk back inside and tell him I’m missing a sandwich and the extra pickles (even though I had asked if the extra pickles were in there — and been told yes).
Now, keep in mind, he has only taken one order in the past 10 minutes — he asks to see my receipt! So, apparently he still has not woken up.
Finally, I get the food and head home. At home, I look at the food again and the receipt. He has still charged me for a meal with 2 sides and has just ‘made up’ the second side without asking what was wanted (which would have triggered me telling him NO 2ND SIDE again).
To top it off, my husband and I both agreed the food was bland and not worth the money. So, we still have not found a good chicken salad sandwich.

Great food and friendly staff! I had the only chicken salad they have with onions. It was very good! The onion flavor was there, but not overpowering. I also enjoyed the tortilla soup!

Love their chicken salad. Place is clean. Bath rooms are clean. Front counter staff are friendly. The only complaint is the people in the back that are making the food have no hair nets on. I got a sandwich and it had at least 4 hairs in it. I sent it back and she replaced it immediately. (Hair free) No problems there. Even gave me a free brownie to make it all better. I would recommend getting hair nets for the employees. Great place to eat. Love their pasta salad.
