So, anyone that knows me knows that I’m an extremely picky eater. And, with that said, I DON’T do anything with mayonnaise. But, the daughter unit and Mrs. HB have absolutely fell in love with Chicken Salad Chick! So, when the daughter wanted to go, away we went.
Now I’m not gonna say a dude would feel entirely comfortable here, because it does give off a sorta “chick” vibes. But, something like that should not stop someone from enjoying great food. And they do have great food. I was able to get a turkey club that was really good.
The service was excellent, as it should be in Springfield. (You’re not going to make it long in Springfield MO without it.) And the prices were ok.
Would I eat there alone? No, not my thing. But will I eat there to spend time with the wife and daughter? Absolutely!

Let me start by saying the cake was absolutely incredible—white, delicious, and unforgettable. The food was extremely tasty, though the portions could have been a bit larger. The salad was equally flavorful but could also use slightly bigger portions, though I understand the need for cost efficiency. Once again, the staff stood out for being exceptionally polite and generous. They seemed to enjoy working together, which created a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Service was prompt and helpful. They offered suggestions on new menu items and offered samples of new items! My daughter and I both tried the cranberry/jalapeno version…fabulous!!! They only reason I didn’t give 5 stars on atmosphere is because it was so crowded…a good thing for them! Price is typical for other lunch offerings in the area.

This was my first time at Chicken Salad Chick, and everyone had raved about this place. The atmosphere was great, as was the service. The issue I had was with the food. I ordered the Classic Carol, the Jalapeño Holly, and the grape salad from the back of house. I also purchased chicken salads specifically the $7 ones from the case right in front as you walk up to the counter.
My diet yesterday consisted of about 66.66% Chicken Salad Chick (some for lunch and some for dinner). Since 4 a.m., I have been sick with headaches, muscle weakness, and stomach pain. Im not completely sure if this sickness is related to this restaurant, but it is safe to safe I will not be coming back.

This was my first visit, but I’ll go back. The food was fresh and delicious! The decor is cute and comfortable, with lots of space to spread diners out. The employee who took my order was helpful and patient in explaining the menu.

I had the turkey club today and was disappointed that whoever made it really skimped on the sauce. There was barely any!! The sandwich came alive when I bit into an area with sauce but the sandwich was lifeless without it and about 70 percent had no sauce. My advice to the owner is please quality control this as it was an unfortunate sour point on what otherwise would have been a great experience. Your staff, pricing and overall atmosphere was excellent.
