Surprise! I am neightherca salad person nor a chicken. But on that day after the doctors visit I was hungry, and did not want to eat anything heavy. I could not think of other popular chain stores, as they are monotonous, all taste one taste, that is salt.
I stopped by the nearest Chicken Salad Chick with a lot of hesitation, but lest with fulfillment. They are the place and food multi- tasting in one plate. A scoop, some salad, loaded with crackers, and sweet grape salad, and amazing dessert which is much more than cookie. Servers were very energetic and funny. They have a history of making the place, to know the history you need to go there.

I often visit chicken salad chick for lunch, dinner or to grab some take out. Recently I had Chicken Salad Chick cater an event. It was fantastic! Everyone I worked with was so helpful and professional. They were wonderful with helping me make decisions and order what worked best for my event. Many guests complimented the food for both taste and freshness. I highly recommend!

Had heard nothing but good things about this place and finally tried it and it was really good. Fairly priced for good quality food. An awesome spot for a quick and delicious meal. Perfect lunch break spot. Will definitely be back.

I ordered delivery for my staff. The food was really top-notch! I appreciate so many gluten free options, too. Service gets 4 stars only because they forgot plates and ice which I had requested, but otherwise we were very pleased and will definitely order again!

If you like chicken salad, then you’ll most likely enjoy this place. Takes the greatest fresh but it’s also decent for take out. Dining area inside looks simple yet inviting.
Cashier at the front explained how the menu works. Food came quick and the service was friendly. Employee said to leave the trash on the table and cleaned it up for us.
They have great soups and sides. Loaded potato soup was surprisingly yummy. Chicken artichoke soup was tasty too. Mac and cheese was nice. Croissant chicken salad was pretty good.
PS just don’t come here right before closing because you won’t get the best possible flavor. Came here a couple times so that’s how I found that out.

We were actually in town visiting from Texas and ran into the owner out at the glow event at Maymont when he told us about his restaurants. I knew we had to check it out before we left town and I’m certainly glad we did because it was excellent. We tried 2 different versions of chicken salad both of which were amazing and I also highly recommend the broccoli salad . The service was also excellent and the restaurant very nice and clean. So thankful for our chance encounter at an event otherwise I would not have known about the place.

TL;DR – The chicken salads are fantastic and priced very fairly for the quality recieved!
Upon entering, we were greeted at the door with a friendly energy and given a rundown of the menu setup. I highly commend the staff for retaining the same amount of energy throughout the day despite the insane amount of customers that poured in at the beginning of the day. The menu was clear and easy to read, and included abbreviations next to menu items to dictate Gluten Free and Vegetarian dishes. The cashier was kind and funny, and rang up our order quickly and accurately. The food came out at a fair speed, not too quick to allow mistakes and not too slow to cause aggravation. My spouse is about as picky as a toddler, being aversive to onions and excessive mayonaise, but there were plenty of chicken salad flavors that fit their taste. The Lauren’s Lemon Basil was savory and zesty, with a lovely basil flavor dancing in the background. The Fruity Fran was the perfect fruit-centered chicken salad, with just the right amount of sweetness to compliment it. The pimento cheese, despite being a side item, is very pleasing and took me right back to my mother’s pimento cheese of my childhood. After finishing our meals, the store manager greeted us and removed our trays and trash. As I finished up my pimento cheese, the woman who had greeted us at the door asked us how we were doing, and offered us free samples of any of the flavors that we may still be curious about. My spouse tried the Buffalo Barclay and the Barbie-Q and claims they were both fantastic, with the flavors being unhindered by the cold nature of the chicken salad. I tried the Dixie Chick, which is notorious for being their “most offensive salad” due to containing extra onion. I love chicken salad with extra onion and found it robust and satisfying. As a side note, the decor is simple and stylish. Altogether an amazing experience!
