Ordered takeaway from this quaint Thai chicken rice shop. Friendly service and personable owners. The Hainan chicken a little dry (maybe can cook shorter time) but still good; crisp fresh salad (no brown on leaves), mild ginger rice goes well with the chicken. The crispy chicken was crunchy and flavorful, but not oily. But the unsung hero is the lowly chicken broth which was bursting with flavor, completed the meal. Portions ample and prices reasonable. Clean and neat place. Will definitely be back!

The food is awesome. The Thai fried bananas were crispy and (naturally) sweet, without being oily. The crispy chicken was the same way. Crispy but not oily.
Staff was super friendly and helpful explaining the items on the menu.

Wonderful restaurant! Every item in the combo meal I had was fantastic. The service was incredible too, when I arrived there was a father with a young daughter dining and the restaurant was playing children’s music for her, as soon as they left the music changed to music more acceptable to adult diners, truly great service!!!

Happen to try this place out with a friend that was in town. Did not know it had been open since last year and right down the street from my office. The food is excellent, taste just like home. I ordered the pork belly with ginger rice is delicious especially with the jeow dipping sauce. I always ask for it to by a lot spicier. It includes a salad and soup, great value! The fried bananas are absolutely delicious! Must try! The owners are very nice, actually nice to practice my Thai with the owners. Overall, nice ambiance, the buy one get one Thai Tea is a nice bonus as well. Overall, highly recommended.

Okay friends, first of all, this is a Thai-Chinese restaurant, as the owner explained to me. He’s also the chef. I went there for the first time, and he greeted me very warmly with a big smile. He explained all the dishes to me and gave me some recommendations, so I ordered my meal and left. When I ate it, I couldn’t believe it. It was like I was actually eating food from Thailand! I lived there and I know the taste. It’s excellent, even more than excellent, and very clean. But I have to warn you, I think because of how delicious it is, you’ll need to order two meals per person, not just one. I highly recommend it!

The food here was so good!! Hainan chicken was my favorite food growing up and this definitely reminded me of my childhood. The owners were so welcoming and warm. Make sure to get the Thai jaew sauce!!

Very clean and friendly, fried bananas were delicious and the grill chicken and GINGER rice! So good. The only downside is we didn’t find this sooner. I almost bought 2 Thai teas’s, and the chef pointed out they had a Thai tea 2 for 1 special. That’s how you get loyal customers.

I’d give it 4.9/5.0 . Not often you find a place that leaves you feeling both satisfied and full, yet not stuffed. That broth/soup was by far the best I’ve ever had. Usually soups leave a nasty feeling on the tongue, this didn’t leave me like that. Twas light but hearty, super flavorful. Paired extremely well with the meal. I thoroughly enjoyed everything , but that liquid was invigorating! Service top notch, order was quick, plating was snazzy. My only complaint was I want more!!

I got the Hainan chicken and i didn’t like the flavor, but the service was not bad for a fast food. It just had this sour flavor. There is another chicken place on Brookhurst and McFadden, that has this amazing ginger garlic flavor but the service is not as good. I like that the chicken is deboned but the quantity looks like one piece of leg. It’s. just not a lot of food, when there’s a popeyes next door you’ll get 8 pieces for the same price, and most days you’d rather have Popeye’s compare to this sour flavor.
