My wife and I moved to Pennsylvania from California over 12 years ago and we have been searching for fried chicken that is memorable. This place has what I consider “bragging rights, stupid good” fried chicken. It isn’t just good, it is stupid good. That is the highest rating possible. This place is over 4 hours away. We will be going back there soon. Yes, it is that good. Keep in mind, this is not a restaurant, no tables, but they did allow us to use their chairs. We ate there and had to take a lot more home. Glad we did. Leftovers for the next day and WOW just as good. You won’t be disappointed.

Heading home from VA Beach, we looked for a place to stop for food and decided to check out this place. The fried chicken and fries were outstanding! The employees were courteous and offered excellent suggestions. Don’t let the outside appearance turn you away, it’s worth it! The only disclaimers I would’ve wanted were that there isn’t a public restroom or any seating area. Regardless, this is an amazing place to stop by to get some delicious fried chicken!

Absolutely love The Chicken Man! The service is incredible every single time we stop in. Ali always makes us feel so welcome and makes sure we’re taken care of! The food is amazing across the board! From the breakfast sandwiches, to the cheeseburgers, to the onion rings, everything is freshly made to order! The kitchen is always in pristine condition and the employees making the food are always very friendly!

The cashier cheated me big-time on my order. It was a $2.99 sandwich, plus .12 tax. I gave him a five dollar bill and he gave me back in change $1.06! I felt he was not going to be helpful in giving me the proper change, so I left. I will NOT be going back again!
