I will absolutely never eat at Chicken Kitchen again. 0/10 recommend! Why would anyone eat here and pay per topping? I’m talking paying separately for a spoon of diced tomatoes ($0.59), a spoon of scallions ($0.59), a spoon of chopped red onion ($0.59), a spoon of corn mix ($1.49)! I understand paying additional for guacamole or even cheese but every topping?? I paid $65 for 2 regular entrees and a kid’s chop chop… at Chicken Kitchen. The kicker is that every single entree says the ingredients in the bowl and “customize with your favorite toppings”. Yet, there is no sign anywhere that says pay per topping. Even the employees said they speak to management constantly because they are expected to notify each customer verbally.

The protein portions are so small they should call this place rice kitchen. Staff is great, food is ok, but I feel like I waste money every time I come here because I get a teeny tiny scoop of protein on top of a mountain of rice and the prices are not cheap. ♂️

I come here all the time and normally they’re great. However, it’s a shame that at 8:40 on a Wednesday I come to get dinner for my Wife and I as she’s in labor and I’m told they have no chicken, lol. Luckily they had a tiny portion for my wife’s small chop chop. They close at 9 but by 8:40 they’re 99% done cleaning the grill. I get wanting to go home, but come on. I’m sure the franchisee wouldn’t be happy to see that.

Went there 1/24 to grab something to eat before I went out. Asked for the half chicken/steak, which is $20. I asked them to double the meat, get to the cash register, and it range up to $35. And honestly for what I got it wasn’t worth it. This place has been skimping on portions for a while. I’m done with this place.

horrible service, and they didn’t give me my online order correctly. I bought the BOGO deal, and I was only given one bowl. They gave me the wrong meat on my order. The lady working there let another customer cut in the line (note he hadn’t even arrived when I was in the line).

DO NOT GO! I review many places and rarely I leave a bad review however, this place is by far one of thw worst experienes I’ve had in a very long time. Forget the construction outside,the place is well lit and looked clean at first glance. However, the food is the child between Moe’s and Pollo Tropical. Incredibly overcooked chicken over tasteless rice or lettuce. OMG, they charged me $1.59 for onions, $259 for room temperature frozen from a bad sweet plantains, and so on. Whereas the small bowl is on the menu for $8.59, my total was nearly $25 as EACH ingredient is charged separately. The fountain drink machine wasnt workign but they did charge me $249 for a drink, moreover, they had the audacity to ask for a tip! I will NEVER go to this place again and I suggest you just throw your money down the drain or donate it Hard Rock Bets. 🙂 Stay away! Even if free, say no.

I rarely write negative reviews but this is ridiculous. My wife picked up burritos. She ordered a burrito with chicken, rice, lettuce, and tomato. See the picture. The worst example of a burrito I’ve ever seen literally 95% rice 4% chicken and 1% veggies. They should just call it a rice burrito. Plain and inedible.

I have given this establishment multiple opportunities to make a good impression, as I don’t base my reviews on a single bad experience. However, I’ve reached my limit. When I dine in the meal is usually acceptable—though dining in is hardly pleasant, given the uncomfortably cold temperature, which feels like 60 degrees or below, making it unbearable unless you’re dressed for a winter blizzard.
Today was the final straw. I ordered three chicken dishes through Uber Eats, totaling over $50, and what I received was appalling: three bowls of rice topped predominantly with chicken skin, burnt edges and fat . I can’t fathom how such a mistake occurs. The Uber driver mentioned the restaurant was extremely busy, but that shouldn’t compromise food quality. This experience was not only disappointing but also a complete waste of money. I will not be returning. I can get a more satisfying from pollo tropical and not risk breaking a tooth.
