Pleasant visit to the Chicken King. Very nice staff. Clean restaurant. As for the chicken, not sure if they are ready for “King” status yet. It just didn’t wow me. It was very crispy which I love but not much in the flavor department. Even the red beans were a disappointment, they had a funny taste. Not sure how to describe it but cafeteria comes to mind. Ok in a bind but nothing to write home to momma about. The sweet tea was on point though.

I’ve never ordered from here before, and when I was asking for prices, the little girl was so rude. She said, “Oh my God, she’s asking for price,” all because I asked for a price on a food item. If the little girl doesn’t like doing her job, then I think it’s time they hire someone new.

Make sure you check your order before you leave the window I was shorted $20 worth of food still haven’t received a phone call back so I can discuss what the issue was. When you eat there 3 to 4 times a week spending no less than $80 at a time, this is very frustrating.

Quite possibly the best fried chicken & seasoned fries I’ve purchased. With the wait time, the food is prepared fresh, chicken pieces (white) were large, well battered, seasoned with Cajun spices, served hot & was delicious. The dining area is clean and the staff is friendly!!
