One of my favorite spots in all of SoCal. Their chicken is simply the best. I love to get it with rice and pickles. We typically stop by every week for food, my 3 and 5 year old have loved their food since they started eating which makes life so much easier with two picky little ones.

Still going strong as one of our fave local spots for Mediterranean food in the SGV! Been coming here for years and have loved everything we’ve ever tried – you can’t go wrong.
Lately we’ve been hooked on their chicken kebab wraps – the pita is thick and soft, the chicken cooked to perfection and so savory along with the garlic sauce, and it comes with rice and hummus.
We also like their 1/4 chicken plates and beef kabobs. Their garlic sauce is the best in the area imo – so smooth and not overpowering like a lot of other places.
Prices are decent and service is efficient and quick on the to-go orders too. They have lunch specials as well.
Plenty of parking and lots of seating indoors and on their patio. A great fast-casual spot for quick local Mediterranean cuisine!

I ordered from their catering menu for 10 people last Saturday night, gave them advance notice of my order, the food is overall excellent. I ordered the chicken and beef kebab and it came with rice, salad, hummus, egg plant dip, sarma (stuffed grape leaves) cheese boreg, garlic paste and bread.
Everything was super delicious and my guests were very impressed. I definitely recommend this place and will definitely use them again especially with upcoming holidays.

Is the first time I come to this restaurant and it has blown my mind the food taste was so great. It looks like it’s like housemate from scratch. I’m so happy to stop by at this restaurant for the first time and I will recommend it to family and friends, and experience good service and good food quality

To my surprise the chicken was cold as they keep it in the fridge. They offered me to Cooke it for me but I was already out of time so they refunded me.
Truly disappointing this time. You never serve cold chicken in a Mediterranean salad!!!

If you’re not eating at Chicken King Express, you’re missing out. When I lived five minutes away, I ate here religiously twice a week.
Now I’m 10 miles out, and every time I stop in or order takeout, I end up kicking myself for not coming more often. The rotisserie chicken is that good.
It’s a beautiful father-and-son operation holding it down in Monrovia. Always consistent. Always delicious. I’ve probably eaten here over 300 times. That’s not a flex, that’s just facts.
Last time I came through, I grabbed a half chicken on my way to announce races at @glenhelenracwway for the @swapmotoraceseries.
I’m up in the tower calling motos and eating like royalty … shredded thigh meat on warm pita, drenched in that legendary garlic sauce (the kind made with real ingredients, not junk), hit it with some @obrothers habanero, a fat pinch of @celticseasalt, and a drizzle of aged balsamic. Every bite had me feeling like I was the one on the podium.
Get the rotisserie chicken. Whole or half. They come with warm pita bread and garlic sauce.
The thighs are my go-to, but you can’t go wrong with the full bird. Add rice. You’ll be glad you did. Get the dolmas. Don’t skip the pickled veggies … they’re not a garnish, they’re acid … The key to balancing every meal. Garlic sauce should be ordered by the cup.

Ordered off door dash 27 bucks for no Pita to come with my meal. This is the second time it has happened. Please do better at checking your orders.Chiken plate only had 4 small pices of chicken. Even with out door dash it’s a small amount for the price of 18 + tax. The salad is a poor serving not even half way of the box it just lines it. Over all they use to be a decent place.
