My order was made late and numbers after me were called…Downtown meter cost money and i had to put more money in. Chicken batter is mediocre. Fish was excellent and so was the tartar sauce. Mac n cheese was very buttery and creamy. No utensils to eat with so i used the lid as a spoon.

They should be called the RIB KING! Seriously BEST ribs I’VE.EVER.HAD. Didnt even need bbq sauce. They were tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Another favorite was the yams. They were amazing, especially when eaten with the cornbread we’ve included before and after pictures.

Being from south it was a great pleasure to find this eatery close by my hotel. The voodoo sauce was pretty good. The food was a little salty however I’d still eat here again.

Great prices, friendly service. Too slow and the food is ridiculously salty! Had to throw it away. Please lower the amount of seasonings you’re using to flavor your food! Even the greens were too salty to consume.

Red beans and rice two pieces of fish or chicken, or one & one. And fries corn bread with some home made peach cobbler. Can’t wait to get busy with that . The fish and fries were decent. I’m going to have the chicken red beans and rice and cornbread for my dinner. And the prices are reasonable..the place was dry kept up as for cleanliness. And the staff were friendly. I plan to eat there again.

Chicken king was really good, especially the ribs. It was run well, clean and friendly. I will definitely be back … It is in downtown so parking is limited but not impossible. Yup bring the kiddies. There were a couple of people in wheelchairs.
