First time here and the food was really good and hot. The sweet tea was good also. I will definitely be back! These 2 plates of food plus drinks came to $38.94. I think it would be better to do takeout because there’s only so many booths available and if you have a big stomach like I do it’s hard to sit in a booth. They also have the bar but I don’t like having my feet hanging down. They do have tap to pay so that is a plus.

I’ve been coming here for several years now. My go-to are the bbq wings and the burgers. Tenders, fries, hushpuppies, and nuggets are fantastic as well. Small place to eat in but very cozy. Not into the fountain drinks other than the sweet tea and lemonade.

Got the gizzard dinner to go… was by far the worst gizzards I have ever had. They were overcooked badly…dry and hard was like chewing pebbles. The sides were not good either.

Idk what’s going on with this restaurant! Food has not been good for months and then I ordered a chef salad which was almost $15 which was mainly lettuce. Not impressed

All the food is cooked fresh to order. Call ahead if you want to avoid waiting. But it’s worth the wait if you don’t!

Don’t eat there till they train the new cook or at least inspector your food. The guy managed to screw up a bacon cheeseburger. It was so dry and overcooked I asked for lettuce, tomato, and onion. I ended up with almost no lettuce, no tomato at all, and a whole lot of onion. Pretty much, the entire burger was covered in onion. When I called, I was told that it did not matter because I didn’t pay for the tomato. But I did pay for the burger, and it was nasty. For over $12, you can get better cheeseburger pretty much anywhere.
