The Whitehouse CE is hands down the best location in the greater Smith County area. This location has improved so much over the past year or so. My order is always correct and the staff is SO nice and friendly. I’ve had one issue with this location recently and it was regarding an order I placed through door dash. The location didn’t receive the order until after I arrived to pick it up (roughly 20 minutes later). But they were so nice about it and rushed to put it together and made it right for us. Needless to say, I don’t use DD to order from here anymore but I don’t think it was really their fault.

Ordered a couple of the Tuesday 2 piece specials and received such a greasy mess that I won’t ever be coming to this location again. I had to take all the skin off to eat the chicken because it was excessively greasy even after trying to use napkins to get the excess oil/grease off.

The young adults that work the drive thru at this particular restaurant made my evening. They were friendly, professional, caring, knowledgeable and seemed to enjoy their job.

Whitehouse Chicken Express is KILLING it with their customer service!! Always super friendly, and I’ve had a different window server every time at their drive through. It’s like they really enjoy being at work or something….. or maybe they secretly think it’s funny that I ordered a four piece and they crammed more in there, knowing it would totally mess with my diet. Either way, I always pull away with a smile on my face. Their management is doing something right!

I drove through at lunch time 6-2-2025. I ordered the 9 gizards with gravy and a roll. The lady at the window was very nice. They asked me to move forward and I did. About 10 minutes later, the same nice lady brought me my order and said ” have a blessed day”. I got maybe 5 miles down the road and found out that the gizards were just burnt and had a nasty, bad flavor. I ate the roll and gravy and tossed the rest in the trash. I called the store spoke to who said she was the manager to let them know about it and she said, well, you need to bring them back so we can make good on it. I told her I threw them away 3 hours ago. She said I can’t do anything about it if you don’t bring her back.That would require me to drive the troop and dig them out of the trash and then bring them back to her so she can probably tell me that there was nothing that she could do about it.
If they make good on it, they will retain a customer.If not, I will not do business there again and I will post a rant on the Whitehouse Texas rants raves and recommendation page.

REDEEMED: I ate here when they first opened and received terrible food and service and I wrote a terrible review. On Saturday, my daughter really wanted chicken express and we were in Whitehouse. Against my better judgment, we went. Instead of paying 13+ dollars, we paid nine dollars for their special. Lady was kind and the food was great. They have been redeemed in my book. Must be new ownership for management whatever it is. I’m glad they did it.

I just came to the drive thru on April 1 @3:25 pm and the man at the window was very rude and unprofessional. He ask if I had a drink and I deliberately told him no that I haven’t gotten it yet. He comes back to the window and I was I didn’t get my drink, he said didn’t you tell me you got it and I was like no Sr and he acted as if I was suspicious and told him I wouldn’t lie and then he said it was none of his business and I couldn’t believe what he said . Very rude and he slammed the window in my face and I didn’t get my honey and ketchup like I ask him too . Never will I come here again and it’s a shame because I live in Whitehouse and I love chicken Express

If you’re in the area, this is the chicken express to eat at. I have dined at one locations in Tyler, which was a gross disappointment and quality of food and taste of drink were awful. This one is well kept it’s clean, their service is friendly and they have a lunch special that is priced right.

Prices still sky high. Food quality has dropped. Ordered online and they hadn’t even checked their online orders 15 minutes later when I got there. They messed up my drink order, and instead of fixing it when they realized it they just have me the wrong drink. I know they did this because I heard them talking about it through the drive thru window. Manager on duty was basically a child. I’ve never been to a restaurant that had a child managing children and it turn out good. For what they charge you for 4 dinky little chicken strips and some fries you’d think they could afford to have an adult managing the place. Doubt I will be going back there for quite some time.
