I’ve been coming to Chicken Express for over 20+ years. They are known for their Mexican Rotisserie Chicken. You can order plates or family meals. What’s cool about this place is that you can get tortillas, salsas and Spanish rice with your chicken as well as more traditional sides such as coleslaw, garlic bread and potato salad.
I go the 12 pice family meal which came with choice of tortillas or garlic bread and 2 large sides (I got coleslaw and Spanish rice). The chicken was delicious like usual and the coleslaw tastes a lot like KFC’s coleslaw which I like. The garlic bread was a little soggy by the time I brought it home and could benefit from a little more seasoning. The Spanish rice also could be slightly more flavorful. They used to have a salsa bar where you can get your own salsa, but I did not see one and they did not include any in my togo which was disappointing (I did not realize until I got home).
They have a parking lot behind the restaurant with a decent amount of parking, but be aware of your surroundings (particularly as it gets dark) because it’s a little sketchy there due to some homeless hanging out there. This location is on the busy North Texas Street, so pulling out of the parking lot can take a bit if you need to make a left turn to go east on North Texas St.
If you want some delicious rotisserie chicken, this is the place to go. They have locations in Fairfield, Suisun and Vallejo. The least sketchy location would be at the Suisun location.

This picture does absolutely nothing for the flavor of this sandwich! Reminds me of how only a Grandmother can make the very best bologna sandwich! Well this plain looking chicken sandwich is the tastiest chicken sandwich I’ve had besides my Grandma’s! Lol! And this is my other half so it’s been sitting around a few hours and still tastes perfect!!

My four year daughter severely choked on a nearly 1.5 inch long thin sharp chicken bone that was in her chicken soft taco!
Thank God, she is okay. I had to manually dislodge the bone and bite of food from her throat and mouth, as the painfully lodged bone caused her airway to be briefly blocked by the following food.
Sorry to have to post this, but I found (no website, email, etc.) to escalate my concern beyond a phone-call to the restaurant with a resolution that I wasn’t satisfied with.

We really like chicken express. Fresh homemade food. Excellent roasted chicken, excellent homemade potatoes salad, excellent Cole slaw homemade, excellent carrot cake homemade, huge burritos that I haven’t tried yet but my friends says are delicious. Good service. The chicken has flavor and even the breast is moist. I highly recommend it. And it’s fast walk in order and in a couple minutes it’s ready to go.

3rd time been here. This place is all about fresh and deliciousness. Rotisserie chicken at its best. This time aside from the delicious burrito i typically order, i ordered two chicken sandwiches for my lovely neighbor and her husband. Well, they loved the food as well.
