This was my first visit to this restaurant and even though they serve chicken as their main dish, I chose to have their fried fish which was absolutely delicious. I had a two-piece fish dinner with corn on the cob. That was delicious and hot. The fish was fresh and hot and I had wonderful fries and a nice cold Coca-Cola and it was very reasonable and they gave me a military discount for being a veteran and I am so humbled by that. So very grateful for that. So very thankful to them for doing that for us. Veterans, it is nice to know that companies in the Austin area. Really appreciate what veterans have sacrificed for this country and it’s great! Absolutely wonderful to be recognized and appreciated by businesses this way. I am humbled by it. Most grateful for it. Most thankful for it but the dinner that I had at this place that was out of this world. I will have their fish again and I highly recommend everyone try it. It’s lightly breaded so hot and such a large fillets. I could only eat one of the two pieces that I got. I took the other one home and had it later in the evening as a snack and it heated up wonderfully and was just as good when I was eating it in the store. The next time I go in I will try their chicken because I am a chicken freak. I love chicken at that and I really am. I can’t believe that I tried their fish. Something just told me to try it and I’m glad that I did. But the next time I go in which will be soon I will try their chicken. I am kind of a chicken connoisseur LOL I know. Thank you chicken Express for being such wonderful Cooks and the girl that worked at the counter was just beautiful. She was respectful. She was glad that I was there and she made me feel most welcome and when I got done eating dinner I thanked them for the cooking of the fish and the gal that cooked it said I cooked it and I thanked her. She did a wonderful job. They’re just great people at this store and this is why I will be going back to them. I feel at home there. It’s a great feeling. Best chicken tenders and fried fish! I literally have to drive 6 miles just to get to them, but it’s totally worth it. They beat any other chicken, tender fast food restaurant with the quality of their food and the flavor. I just wish they had them more in Austin.

We loved the chicken tenders, rolls, and fried ocra. It was clean and quite. It has a calming atmosphere. The staff was so kind, they gave us some extras and offered my daughter a free cookie after the lunch. We loved the place and will definitely visit again soon!

Walk in for lunch and the service was excellent. I order the tenders for the whole family. I order a gallon of sweet tea and 5 cups and owner told me to take the gallon of tea home and just get any of the fountain drink that we wanted . I don’t see that kind of service that often.

I wish I had gotten the names of the crew that was there just now but the young blonde guy singing at the drive thru window and the guy who took my order through the drive thru were awesome! I’d never been here before and this was the best customer service I’ve experienced in a minute. I’ll definitely be back!!! And the food is bomb! Fish is seasoned perfectly and chicken is very good. We’ll definitely be back! Thanks for a great experience
