This Chicken Express could have so much potential.
Unfortunately the staff are incredibly ignorant and rude to customers; They “forgot” the APPLE pie I ordered and brought me a cherry pie when I said something about it. At that point, I didn’t want pie any more. They also forgot both of our drinks
Staff were unprofessional and made me feel like i don’t deserve to eat in my recovery.

I came through just now and got a box with gizzards…..and let me tell you….those were the BEST gizzards I have ever had. They were super FRESH and CRISPY and seasoned wonderfully! The gentleman at the drive thru window was very kind. Awesome!

If I could give them zero stars I would! ANY TIME IVE EVER GONE, they have no chicken ready and the lobby isn’t even full, it’s completely empty! And before you think, “ if it’s so bad why do you keep going back?” Well because I go once every 6-8 months and still the same stuff every time. But when my family wants chicken that’s the only place here that sells chicken and dare not go to brookshires bc ew!
Anyway, so we always have to wait for chicken and I must say they were actually accurate on timing. But I get home and I realize why, they only gave me 4 damn prices of chicken when I ordered a damn 12pc meal (got the sides though). I live a good 10 min out of town and man was I pissed!
And just to add that anytime we have to wait, they say “15mins” but end up being closer to 30-45 mins because why?! Well they got workers coming in and out of the establishment talking to their friends that pull up or taking 2-3 smoke breaks as we’re waiting. Ridiculous! Why can’t we get another chicken place in Hearne, he’ll bring golden chick back!

I met the worst customer experience after the longest wait times on my first experience, along with undercooked fries. I gave them a pass, bad days happen. However, I regret giving them a second chance. Cold food and bad customer service again. I threw everything up 4 hours later. Never again, which is what every local has told me too. I ordered 7 spicy tenders, roll, fries ,poppers and half sweet/unsweet tea.
Cashier asked if i wanted half spicy,half regular…i said no,all spicy.
I got 3 dried up shriveled spicy, 4 regular tenders, pure sweet tea.
This seems DELIBERATE.

Had one of the worst chicken express meals ever. The picture you are looking at is one of the spicy “tenders” that they gave me without the breading. All of the chicken was dry and some parts inedible.

Service was great, except they gave me regular tenders instead of spicy. And the biscuit wasn’t the biscuit that I’m used to seeing when I’ve stopped at other Chicken Express. I definitely would have went back for the right Chicken but I was already 3miles down the road.

Despite having a Chicken Express by my house in College Station (Wellborne), I love them, and the one on University, amazing! However, this one in Hearne is ATROCIOUS, I’m not one to normally even leave reviews unless it’s REALLY GOOD or in this case, REALLY BAD. The total bill was a little over $17, I ordered the 7 piece strip meal, thinking “strips” like I’ve always received at the other locations, instead, as you can see in the pictures, they give these little “chunks”, now granted, they gave me 9 little “chunks” instead of 7 “strips”, but they were all burnt, and so tough I couldn’t chew them, so they went directly in the trash. The $17 also was supposed to be with two sides, they asked, I said “Macaroni and Okra”, they gave me neither, but instead gave me cold soggy fries, and cold gravy. So visit this place at your own risk, but if I could’ve gave them ZERO STARS, I would have, please AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
