Got there at 12:00. Ordered seven chicken strips and mashed potatoes. Drove away and the chicken was at best. Lukewarm so is the mashed potatoes yet? The chicken was extremely dry and I’m assuming old pretty gross. I rarely come to Chicken Express because it’s not the best and I always get cold food or just bad. So I think I’m done with Chicken Express. I’ll go to Bojangles

Sigh….That sad fried pickle on the bottom right pretty much summarizes my Chicken Express visit. Keep in mind I do enjoy Chicken Express and their sweet tea is amazing! Although this visit and quite frankly this location is one the of the worst Chicken Expresses I’ve been too. For me, either Chicken Express hits hard and their tenders are amazing, or they are as hard as forged tungsten and over fried. The Tenders, corn nuggets, and pickles were way greasy and the fry on everything tasted gross.
Not only that, but the dude over the speaker as I was taking my order sounded like he just lost his family. Very depressed sounding and low monotonous voice, I could barely hear a thing! “No you cannot sub the bread or roll for another tender”. Is what he said.
Lastly, the fried pickles were decent although it tasted like they were left out for a couple days and then put in the fryer.
Sorry Chicken Expresses, but you left me no choice.

If you like paying outrageous prices and getting little to no food for it then this is the place for you! It cost more to eat here then it an actual sit-down restaurant like Chili’s. The continual price increases have gotten out of hand to well beyond the point of absurdity. The tender sizes have shrunk so much it’s like they took the chicken strips and cut them in half. Please look at the other reviews and see the examples as well.

for six shabby wings, which are sprinkled with a huge amount of flour, they cost $20. Are you a fine dining restaurant? Even there, for six wings, only amazingly cooked, I would pay much less. It’s better to buy a whole grilled chicken at Walmart for $5, or maybe $8, I don’t remember exactly. For two, that’s more than enough. No sauce for it, nothing, just three cheap buns and $20 goodbye

Ordered the 4 pc tender meal with a double order of no-salt french fries. I am usually satisfied with the food and quality of service at this location. Not this time. The tenders were made from something other than white meat (kind of pinkish) and the french fries were some of the most soggy and salted I have ever tasted. Willing to give them another chance since they are usually good at fulfilling my takeout orders.
