Absolute worst food I’ve ever received from a chicken express. I ordered the fried fish. It has absolute no flavor at all and over fried. Attempted to call the restaurant to speak to a manager and the number listed here and on the chicken express website are both out of service. Complete waste of money and time.

I came to chicken Express, at 13000 us-287 Haslet Texas 76052, took them forever to take my order in drive thru, I ordered 4 Express tenders, mashed potatoes and a side order of okra extra crispy, with an extra roll, with a 32 oz diet Coke,
My total came to $16. 42
I sit in the driveway for about 10 minutes before they brought me my drink, we sat there about another 10 to 15 minutes when they finally decided to give us our food!
Then,
I opened the box and my okra was not extra crispy, it was cold and mushy like,
I asked them if they could at least redrop the okra they said no our deep fryers are down, then I said why did you not tell me this when I ordered the okra to begin with, I’m sorry is all they would say
We open up the mashed potatoes and they was runny and the gravy on top of the mashed potatoes was like water with little color it tasted horrible,
Then we opened our container of actually gravy to dip our chicken in it was super thick! Like thicker than mashed potatoes ever thought about being Worst experience ever,
And to top it all off we tried to call and ask for a manager and the phone is out of service!
I just wish there was some way they could make this right, buy anyways, if you are reading this I hope you have a better experience than I did, also this is my first time to ever leave a bad Google review ever in my 36 years of life, I’m normally not a hard person to please! But this was a 100% waste of money! And not completely what I even ordered!

When my family and I arrived we were immediately greeted by Chance with a friendly smile and “how’s your day going”, who was also being trained by Bryson, both were extremely welcoming and professionally. Food came out quickly and was great. Facility was clean, will definitely be back again!

Great location. Food was fresh and hot. Rolls were perfect. Clean and well kept. The lady at the counter was awesome. Her name is Sheri. She was friendly and helpful. When she didn’t have customers she quickly came out to the dining room and swept and cleaned. This is the first time we visited this location off Avondale Haslet in front of the new Lowes.
Update 2/7/26… visited again today. Workers again were awesome. Food was great. Restaurant was clean.

One of the worst Chicken E’s I’ve ever been too. The food was not fresh….tenders had been sitting a while. One employee was talking to a friend that stopped by and they were cussing loudly in front of my child. Another employee had his pants sagging below his hips with his underwear hanging out for all to see. If I was the franchise owner, I would be greatly embarrassed.

Do not go here after 8PM. They are already starting to shut down even though the hours say until 10. They even had the drive through kiosk turned off. I pulled up to the window and they said they had chicken but nothing fresh if I wanted it. I asked about the hours and he actually told me they walk out the door by ten and start closing much earlier. Blows my mind. We love chicken E but I will never return to this location

Stopped in on way home to get a very simple order. Gizzards, okra, two spicy tenders, spicy chicken breast and 6 wings! Stood at the counter and the drive home is about 25 mins. So too far to drive back is the point- got home- got gizzards, mashed potatoes, not spicy tenders or chicken- come on! The guy at counter was telling the kids at the back to settle down and stop cursing- maybe if you paid just a LITTLE attention- receipt showed correct stuff so why can this simple order be completely wrong? Come on…. Do better won’t drive 45 mins round trip to go back so I guess you just get garbage! 11/17/2025 at 1600- do better Chicken express this is awful!

Came here 20 minutes before closing and they were out of bone in chicken, so I ordered tenders. Waited in the drive thru line for about 12 minutes and when I get to the window, he says they just ran out of tenders! Seriously, you couldn’t come out to tell me while I was waiting (there was only one car in front of me) very inconvenient. 2nd bad experience at this location.

Waited 17 minutes in the drive though for 2 #1 meals and a regular side of okra. They forgot my okra and I had to go inside to retrieve it, then we get home and our chicken strips are the size of fried shrimp. This is definitely not 28$ worth of food, very disappointing! The lady manager that works at this Chicken Express has no customer service skills. During the time I was there, she refused to help with my payment and laughed at me just because I needed to fix my order. However, Daniel was extremely polite and went above and beyond to help me.
