We had the chicken tenders with okra and French fries. Okra wasn’t over cooked. Some of the stores burn the okra. We recommend this location.

Chicken Express: The Ultimate Comfort Food Destination! ✨
If you’re on the hunt for consistently delicious, satisfying, and authentically Southern-style fast food, look no further than Chicken Express. This isn’t just another quick-service chain; it’s a culinary stop that delivers tradition and flavor with every single order.

Why Chicken Express Stands Above the Rest

Chicken Express has mastered the art of the perfect fried chicken. Their secret lies in the quality: every piece is seasoned flawlessly and fried to that ideal golden-brown crispness. That audible crunch when you take the first bite of the skin gives way to moist, tender, and naturally sweet meat inside. It is, quite simply, the benchmark for classic comfort fried chicken.

For those who prefer a boneless option, the Tear-N-Tender fillets are a must-try. These strips are expertly fried and pair perfectly with their selection of dipping sauces, offering a convenient, less-messy option that kids and adults alike adore.

But the experience isn’t complete without their legendary beverage: the Sweet Tea. Always brewed fresh, perfectly chilled, and expertly sweetened, their iced tea is the quintessential Southern complement to the rich, savory chicken, creating a balanced and refreshing meal.

Don’t overlook the side dishes! From creamy, comforting Mashed Potatoes and gravy to crispy fried Okra, every accompaniment is made with care, ensuring your meal is truly complete.

Chicken Express offers a quick, friendly, and high-quality dining experience every time. It’s the perfect place for a satisfying lunch, a family dinner, or whenever you need a reliable taste of home-style Southern cooking.

Its a great chicken place. We all enjoy stopping in for a quick lunch while we’re out and about during the day. The rolls and sweet tea get me every time. Sometimes i swing by on the way home just to grab a gallon of sweet tea for the house.

My mother wanted one thing to eat after going almost 24 hours of not eating while being in the hospital and that was a biscuit and we picked them up got back to the hospital to find rolls in the box and not the biscuit she wanted which was disappointing to her.

Needless to say I’m not happy with them and by the time we would get back the store would be closed. I recommend checking your food before leaving or better yet going to another restaurant for your dining.

Love the mash potatoes! So good. My only complaint was my hi-c was like concentrated syrup. Rather nasty.

Got the 2 PC Fish combo. The fish filets were big, perfectly seasoned, and not greasy. Very good fish. Mac n cheese was good as well.
I didn’t care much for the hush puppies, though. They were too sweet and just tasted like mushy sweet corn

The prices at this location are way too high. They now charge for water and dipping sauce. Depending on the day the dining room might be closed. I will go somewhere else from now on.

This was in the drive thru….. the young man had quite a bad attitude, Tenders were very small and been around awhile……this was so disappointing!
Three chicken breasts: tough meat, the coating was bland and old, apparently had been kept under the warmer for quite a while.
The biscuits were like hockey pucks! Only thing worth eating was the coleslaw.
Prices are increasing…..why is quality and service decreasing?
My husband used to love Chicken Express but We will never go there again.

The sweet tea was sweeter than any of the other chicken express locations I’ve been to. It was too sweet. My chicken tenders were off the hook
