Ran over to get this while the rest of my family was waiting at McD’s across the road. 10/10 would recommend!! The McD’s was taking forever, but Chicken E was SO quick regarding service! The workers were friendly, generous with portions, and the building was clean. They were busy but all the customers seemed happy. I received my order and was back at McD’s before the rest of my family got their food. Added up to a very positive experience at Chicken E!

I pulled through the drive through when I was ordering it was going good as normal then the last on the speaker started rushing me? She told me my total for one meal I had placed I wasn’t even done ordering! When I say at the speaker and said, “ ma’am I’m not finished” there was no reply. I decided to drive up to the window again saying I wasn’t done she ignored my commented repeated herself saying the total again while reaching a hand out for payment process. I was astonished, I handed her my card let her pay for it. She handed me my card back nothing said. So I decided she ask her if I needed to drive around a second time to place the other half of my order, she got snappy and stated how she couldn’t hear me. Then asked if I’d like to place it at the window I said no because of being taxed twice. I was very upset with the service this time! I usually go and everything’s great but for whatever reason not this time.

Passing through on a road trip and took a chance on it. Glad we did. Fresh cooked chicken livers, spicy tenders, and corn nuggets were all outstanding. Service was super friendly too. Highly recommend!!

I ordered a 2 piece chicken dinner in the drive thru. Since they were out of the 2 pieces that I wanted, I was told the wait time would be 9 minutes if I wanted those 2 pieces. I had no problem waiting, but I waited in line for an estimate of 30 minutes and realized that about 7-10 cars behind me received their orders before me. There was no knowledge of the order I placed and paid for when I finally got someone’s attention (after knocking on the drive thru window and blowing the horn), so I had to wait for about 5 more mins for the order. I’ve been in food
service and worked it for 7 years, and I was a manager. The food isn’t too fresh, the fried okra is burnt and has been sitting. After working 12+ hours, thr last thing I want to do is spend my hard earned money on terrible food and service. I’m so disappointed.

We’ve been out of Texas for a while . The pup needed some food and the kids have never tried this place. The service was fast and friendly. The staff was awesome on Sunday! Everything was so hot and fresh. The SPICY was soooooo good!

I have been to all the chicken restaurants and I know chicken is chicken. So there chicken in my opinion equals or even exceeds the quality of KFC food. But what really stands out at chicken express is the service and the people who work here are just the sweetest and friendliest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with at a restaurant. And no matter what I get it’s always excellent quality and taste. They take care of my hunger needs in ways no other restaurant ever has. I never leave this place hungry an no matter what you get. They always make sure I get plenty to eat. If I were rich I’d come here 7 days a week. They take care of the customers and just go in and find out what I really mean by that. They remind of the way lamberts Cafe takes care of there customers and they go above and beyond to make sure your not hungry anymore when you leave. Chicken express is treasure to cherish in such a little college town. Thank you to the employees and owner if he ever reads this. You always make it worth it every time.
