New PLACE- first impression – I wasvery impressive the customer service and the delicious food. My Family and I were passing through from Texas and stopped in. My goodness everything was so delicious! The chicken was so FRESH and HOT! The sides were great- we had the French fries, Mac-n-cheese, Red beans and rice, and the Rice dressing. Again, everything was fresh, hot, and delicious.

The chicken is juicy, not buried in salt, and the skin is crispy with some great flavoring to flour. The heat (spice) creeps up at the end of bite into juicy piece of chicken. Green beans were tasty and also not buried in salt. Net result….is a good balance of flavors in each dish. Mac n Cheese …super smooth and cheesy.

The atmosphere is nice, clean and spacious. I arrived 4 minutes before opening and I let the man behind me order first because I wanted to review the menu. I ordered a 12 pc white meat, fried okra and red beans. I noticed the chicken was already sitting out when they let me in the building. The food was warm but by the time i got home ( went straight home), I live in Harrowhead subdivision down Texas so a 4 min drive the food was cold. Thank the Lord for air fryers. I will try again n a few week to see if any improvements were made but honestly they would probably turn a bigger profit NOT doing regular chicken cuz ummmm Brookshires on 171 at the front of town has the best pressure cooked chicken. I’m patiently waiting for a chicken spot that has different wing/chicken flavors because think about it besides popeyes we don’t have a Canes, Chic fil a, wingstop, or Buffalo wildwings so flavor options are nonexhistand and I was hoping Chicken Depot would bring something new and fresh, but we shall see.
