Was in the area for a quick sub on the go, I was the only customer, the vibes were quiet.. my sub man didn’t return back for 15 mins and finally I caught a lovely ladies attention. But if there are three workers in the back.. how are they going to serve the community. When they are all in the back. I didn’t call in either I was a walk in customer. And they ghosted me and my time. Go to the Wawa up the road for better service. They could have put a little more love into my sub.

Fried chicken is a delivery treat for me and this is the place to get it. The chicken pieces are generous and the chicken is moist and delicious and the batter is tasty. The sides are always delicious – the baked beans are especially good. The delivery is prompt – the food always arrives warm and ready to eat.

My wife & I were there tonight/I ordered the the chicken 2-piece Chicken Snack (really more like a dinner for 1) it was juicy & tasty,easy to chew/liked the thick cut fries also/dinner roll bun was fresh/fried hot apple pie’s were old school good/…..She the had BQQ Rap/ also very good/Very Friendly Staff…..will patronize again….satisfied customers

This is what makes chicken delight stand out from other “fried chicken” establishments. They have kept the same recipe consistent since I was walking around in diapers, in fact, since my grandfather was wearing diapers. They pressure cooker the chicken using a special frier which keeps it juicy, tender, and really allows the flavor of the seasoning to penetrate deep into the meat. This isn’t your standard fried chicken place where only the fried skin / breading has flavor. No. The entire piece of chicken is oozing with deliciousness. As the saying goes: “don’t cook tonight! Call chicken delight!”

I don’t live in the area any more but will get take-out in the summer. Ordered chicken and fries last night and it was terrible. So greasy! I blotted the fries before rewarming them and again after taking them out of the oven. They tasted off – the oil they were fried in was bad. Chicken was soggy and dry and the coating was just not the same. No parker house roll! It was replaced by a stale piece of Italian bread. I’m so disappointed. Won’t be back. Very sad because I’ve been coming here since I was a kid.

Honestly the reviews made me expect so much more :(. The chicken indeed does have a unique taste, I never thought I’d say chicken could be too moist but it felt like I was eating the most oily chicken ever. The roll was good but I’m assuming store bought. The wings were not crispy at all unfortunately, however the customer service was great, giving it an extra half star if I could even add that. The Mac n cheese looked like my baby cousin Sophia could make it better. I would say my favorite part was the corn, but it’s kinda hard to mess that up. But yeah very affordable I have to admit, and the staff is so sweet love them 🙂
