We tried Chicken and burgers Sunday. I ordered the 4 pease fish. The fish fillets were large with good flavor and crispy . My son ordered a burger and it was juicy. My wife ordered the chicken sandwich. Plus we also ordered the fried chicken. It was really delicious

Not your average chicken spot. More menu options, like fish, beef burgers, and more. The TUESDAY SPECIAL is what I purchase today. Two chicken pieces with a dinner roll. And to top it off since that was 2.50 on the special, I got fried okra as a side, and and drink for about total 10.00. I tell you it’s a better deal here with the added side and drink than majority of places. Okra was Bussin’, fried with a homemade seasoning they sprinkle on them. They had just opened up at 1100 ish when I got there, so everything was fresh. More sides on the menu like mozzarella sticks, but you won’t be disappointed. Meat pieces wasn’t small neither. Okra again was like for 2 servings on a small side order. Dinner roll was not buttery, but dry and not warm. And that’s all I could sense from the order. Will try more here soon. Best on the South Side for the price and taste. Hot sauce and ketchup upon request.

Ashley was very sweet and attentive to our needs even after my grandma wanted to make changes 10 minutes after placing her order. It was my family’s first time at this location. I definitely like it better than the other location hands down. I didn’t get the cashier’s name but she smiled and was welcoming. It was her 2nd day and she looked so calm and happy to be there. I loved to see Ashley checking on her to make sure she was good, it definitely felt like they were all a team.

The location itself is clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, the customer service during my visit was disappointing. I was not greeted upon entering, and the interaction while ordering felt unwelcoming.
Another concern was that the doors were locked at 8:35, which seemed unusually early. Additionally, the food did not taste freshly prepared. This stood in contrast to my experience at another location, where the service was noticeably more friendly and the food was clearly cooked to order.
While the facility is nice, improvements in customer service and consistency would greatly enhance the overall experience.

So my girl lives close by and I’ve been eyeing this place and been wanting to come here and give this place a try. So, its me and my girl and my stepdaughter’s first time being here. First thing you notice when you walk in is the atmosphere. Service is right there ready for your order, menu on the board, tvs and music playing. Art displayed on the wall. Love the atmosphere. I and my stepdaughter ordered the Chicken Sandwich meal, comes with seasoned fries and a fountain drink. My girl order the chesseburger meal, season fries and a fountain drink as well comes with that. Both the burger and the chicken sandwich had a great taste to them. Love the fries as well, I believe their seasoned with tony chachere’s. Place had really good sweet tea as well. If there would be any cons coming from this place. It would be that, the music they were playing was way too loud. I could hardly hear my girl talk to me and we weren’t even around the speaker either. And if your in rush, this is not fast food. It’s gonna be a lil bit before tour food comes out. But it’s very much so worth the wait. We definitely plan on being back!

I usually don’t have any complaints when I order from here but today I was very unsatisfied. I ordered a 10 piece mixed and all of the chicken was burnt except the wings and the fries were super soggy. On top of that I ordered a jalepeno that wasn’t in my bag, and when I went back to get it, the cashier made me dig through all of the chicken to make sure it wasn’t in there before getting one from the back, which is why the bag is all torn up in the photo. I am also not a fan of the packaging of the to go orders. The food is placed in brown paper bags that are all wet and tearing apart by the time you pick up your food. I’m guessing today was just a bad day but I really hope they can get it together!

I purchased the $1.25 wings special. Definitely disappointed. I was told I needed to purchase 10 wings and a side which was $4.99 to receive the special. I ordered the cabbage 1st and they gave me a container 1/2 full. The young lady apologized, told me to keep it and added the fries. Manager asked me to come back to the counter, wanted the cabbage back. Which should been thrown away! I will not patronize this business EVER. Too many stipulations just to get wings for $1.25. Added a picture of my $4.99 fries.

Probably the best fried chicken and fried okras I’ve had in my lifetime. Service was exceptional! There was always someone making sure we were good and taken care of. This place does not compare to any other chicken spots you’ve tried in the Houston area.

What I’m really here to talk about is the service I received on my third visit a few months back and again yesterday (01-14-26). This is the second time in a row that my order was forgotten. After the third visit, I said I wouldn’t come back, but I did—only because I was with someone who had never tried it before.
We placed an order, received a receipt, and waited about 30 minutes. When we went inside to check on our food, we were told that the order hadn’t been placed and that we would have to wait another 15–20 minutes because they didn’t get it. I was beyond disappointed. I hadn’t eaten all day, and since this wasn’t my first option, I was highly upset. I had to return to work without eating because I no longer had time to stop and get anything else.
They were nice and polite enough to refund us without hesitation, which I appreciate. I don’t like leaving negative reviews for businesses, but when there’s an inconvenience like this—especially happening two times in a row—I feel I have to speak up. I’m not looking for any accommodations or anything; I just hope the customer service improves for everyone else going forward
