The lunch special is a good deal, appetizers and main rice dish Anya’s drink. Very generous portion. There chicken are nicely grilled and the accompanying sauces are excellent. The chicken salad is excellent. The truffle fries are crunchy and nicely cooked but very little truffle flavor.
We went all out on Thai food and drinks at Chicken and Co. and had quite the feast!
Drinks
Thai Iced Tea ☕ – A classic! Sweet, creamy, and comforting. A must-have.
Butterfly Pea Milk – Gorgeous drink! Loved the color-changing magic, but my heart belongs to Thai tea. ✨
Thai Iced Coffee ☕ – Smooth, rich, and perfectly sweetened. A great pick-me-up!
Verdict: Drinks were top-tier! 9/10
Food ️
Tom Yum Noodle Soup with Crispy Chicken ($13.95)
Spicy, tangy, and super filling! The crispy chicken paired well with the flavorful broth. 8/10
Zaab Wings ($8.95)
Perfectly seasoned and even better with the sweet chili sauce! A must-try. 9/10
Crispy Chicken Skin ✨ ($6.95)
Extra crispy, well-seasoned, and great for snacking. 8/10
Truffle Fries ($7.95)
Crispy but needed more truffle flavor. A little underwhelming. 6/10
Daikon Soup
Simple, light, and comforting. 8/10
Gai Tod (Crispy Chicken Rice) & Moo Tod (Crispy Pork Belly Rice)
The crispy chicken over ginger rice was the winner for me! The pork belly was good but not a fan of the tamarind sauce. 8/10
Dessert
Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango & Coconut Ice Cream
A Thai classic done right—creamy, sweet, and refreshing. 9/10
Final Thoughts
✔️ Food: 8/10
✔️ Affordability: 8/10 (Great portions for the price!)
✔️ Ambiance: 7/10 (Cute spot, small seating, but they were playing the new Lady Gaga album! )
Verdict: If you’re craving crispy chicken, Thai flavors, and refreshing drinks, Chicken and Co. is a solid pick! Grab a feast and enjoy it while watching White Lotus!
The things I enjoyed were the daikon soup (comes with a chicken and rice dish, or you can order a larger version) and the chive dumplings.
I always get the white meat poached + rice. They cook the chicken breast very well and makes me feel healthy hitting my #PROTEINMACROS.
Their lime thai tea (not the milky one) is also good and sweet and hits the spot.
Edit: have now came back multiple times, doing take out one twice and dine in once. Both takeout orders were we ready at the expected time for pick up, warm, and had all items packaged.
Edit edit: Tom yum noodle soup is amazing, nice and nutty with great spice and darker flavors from the fried chicken. Exciting to try something new.
When dining in the staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly. I got the grilled chicken plate (Gai Yang), spring rolls, and a thai tea. All were presented nicely and satisfactorily filling. Love this spot!!!
Really it’s about the food and the price: excellent flavor, perfectly cooked. Tight menu, and everything is delicious and flavorful. My favorite crab Rangoon so fresh, but honestly it’s the pork belly over ginger rice that should bring you in. We come so often!
– Butterfly Pea Milk ($3.50): Refreshing and not overly sweet. The pink part was reminiscent of Strawberry Nesquik to me.
– Chicken Duo (Poached and Grilled) ($13.95): I liked the poached chicken and the sauce that came with it more, but the dish as a whole was not bad. The end pieces were a bit dry, and the non-dry pieces could have been juicier, which is the only reason I am rating 4/5.
– Mango Sticky Rice ($8.95): The sticky rice was very good, and I liked that it was not drowned in coconut milk like ones that I have had in the past. The mango was also sweet.
