The food was perfect—everything was seasoned and cooked just right. I ordered the fried chicken combo with greens, mac and cheese, and yams (add-on), and it did not disappoint. My server, Tara, had the Southern hospitality Atlanta is known for—warm and gracious. It’s a welcoming sit-down spot in a bustling airport, and the food comes out quickly!

I was so skeptical about this place because I hate paying $26.99 for bad airport food. Chicken and Beer is above and beyond tasty! I’m from the south, so I asked the servers, point blank, if the fried chicken was good. They answered “people like it,” which didn’t make me super confident. Nevertheless, I took a leap of faith and ordered the 3 chicken wings. They didn’t disappoint. So much flavor, not too much oil, and fried crispyyyyyt so the skin is simply delicious.
Pro tip: they can put the sauce (lemon pepper, hotlanta sauce) on the side, so that’s pretty nice.
Overall 10/10. Well done, Ludacris. You have a new fan whenever I’m in terminal D.

My time at Chicken+Beer ATL was phenomenal. The food came out so quickly and was very fresh. The fried green tomatoes were incredible and a great portion for sharing! My server Keandra was amazing! Very personable and intuitive. She anticipated my needs and requests and went above and beyond to make sure my experience was spectacular. Can’t wait to return!

I decided to check this place out for breakfast since it was well-rated and I was craving some chicken and waffles.
Since it was just me, I sat at the bar. The chairs at the bar are too low for the bar top which made the dining experience less comfortable.
There’s a strip of AC vents that blow directly downward onto the bar and I constantly had to use my glass/plate/silverware as paper weights to keep my check and napkins from blowing off. I’m glad I was wearing a jacket but my food ended up getting cold very quickly as a result.
I ordered a spicy Bloody Mary which, for the $18.87 price, I expected it to be something special. It was just a small Bloody Mary with a couple olives, so I was really disappointed in that.
For the chicken and waffles you have the option of a thigh, a breast, or two wings. I asked the bartender/server for a recommendation on the choice of chicken in case one was more popular or there’s some type of local knowledge in terms of selection. She just said “I don’t eat meat” flatly. Maybe I should’ve phrased the question differently but I didn’t really care for the tone or the value of her response. Other than that, service was quick and attentive.
The food came out quickly and I thought it was very tasty and of fair value for sit-down airport food. I’d definitely recommend the chicken and waffles. If I ever were to come here again I’d avoid the bar completely (both the sitting option and the drinks).

I ordered the fried chicken plate with collard greens and Mac and cheese; the food was good. I do wish the collard greens had more flavor, as they were somewhat bland, although they were cooked well. The Luda-Rita was good as well; I’m not sure if it was $15 good, though. The wait time was nonexistent, and Lauren, my waitress, was amazing – very attentive and provided fast service. I give it 3/5 stars due to the lack of flavor in the food. However, I still recommend it.

There aren’t enough stars for the service we received and witnessed. Our server, Von was amazing. Not only did he greet every customer with a smile and kind words, he also chased down a customer to return their travel bag they left behind. Even with all that, he took great care of every table. As for the food, we decided to try the whole wings in two different flavors. Both selections were fried, seasoned, and sauced to perfection. Chicken and Beer has won us over. Next stop through ATL, we’ll be back!

Staff was incredible. Shay was my server and she was so kind. Love that they have a no loud phone call rule including no FaceTime. Makes for a better environment for sure

First time having Chicken & Beer at the ATL gate D. We had Tara W, as our server. She greeted us with a big smile right when we walked in. Amazing service throughout! The food couldn’t have been any BETTER. Highly suggest the Loaded Rosemary Tot’s add chicken thigh meat on top. Also, same goes for the Chicken N waffles. Which we have had else where, and nothing compared to the quality we received here. I wish I had taken a picture, but by the time the family started to try to food, they ate it up so fast I didn’t have a chance. If you are lucky enough to have the time to get a quick bite to eat (yes the food came quick, fresh and amazing) then make your way down and see the great staff and try the amazing food. Ludacris can be proud of this location as the staff and food was outstanding!
