I look forward to returning to sample their renowned grilled chicken in the near future.
never waste my time or money here. i much prefer going to an authentic place that’s actually Peruvian or latino owned. the seasoning on the chicken was lacking, and the rice is not the expected “chaufa” rice. the food felt dry and not fresh. the classic Peruvian yellow sauce was just mayo but they still charge you 25 cents for it. the customer service is poor. no thanks.
I’d come here for the food, not the service or the atmosphere although it’s spotless inside. this business looks to be primarily focused on online orders and catering. an example of this is the lack of bar seating. looks like they placed plants in the window for pickup drivers outside at the expense of the atmosphere inside. but I do love the plants.
criticisms:
*I wish we got larger sauces.
*Broke a couple of the plastic utensils trying to carve the chicken.
*Price for a beer seems a little high if you want to incentivize people to come and sit down.
We had the fried yucca, carne asada, chucharones, pupusas and beans and rice. Everything was fantastic and I can’t wait to come back.
Our kids were curious about the kitchen so they showed them the ovens and gave them balloons. Fun place with great food.
