I always get the fish & shrimp combo , however I hate that it’s Not REAL Catfish and just some type of white fish . You can clearly tell and see it’s not real catfish and the batter of the shrimp is bland and tasteless but the shrimp are large and the value you get for your money is descent but I definitely see some improvements to make it more Cajun cuisine for Louisiana

I really wanted to like this place, but the experience was disappointing. The food was inconsistent and not worth the price, and the service felt rushed and unfriendly. The fish was overcooked and lacked flavor, and the sides tasted like they’d been sitting out for a while.
The staff didn’t seem interested in helping or correcting issues, which made the whole visit uncomfortable. There are much better seafood options in Shreveport that offer fresher food and better customer service. I won’t be coming back. Go down the street to same southern eatery it so much better. It is also more affordable this place just ain’t it. I will be going down to the street to Sam’s southern eatery!

Food, service is very good. Ordered take out food. Got home to eat & there was a long hair in food. Had to be thrown away. Please have your cooking staff wear hairnets to prevent this from happening. Will be a while before I go back.

First of all I must say I’ve dined at the North Market location before had a good experience however on my last visit I was very disappointed in my side dishes red beans and rice was room temp at best and the rice was very crunchy like it had been scraped from the bottom of the pot the temperature was the same for the gumbo although I got the small size it had absolutely no meat not to mention there was no spoons for the gumbo

OMG, the chicken strips are the best I’ve ever had, literally. Very well seasoned but not too spicy, crispy outside, tender and juicy on the inside. And don’t even get me started on the rolls that come with the lunch plates…Amazing!!!
