Arrived at 5:54pm, later than actual pick up time to assure online order was ready. Another customer was still deciding what to order. I told the employee I was picking up an online order. She looks at the counter machine and says I didn’t get an order. I had placed the order online to avoid the wait I had the previous time, mind you.
She asked me what I ordered, wrote it down, and then commenced with the conversation with the other undecided customer. After about 5 minutes more of menu discussion, she heads to the back to prepare the orders.
At about 6:28pm she brings a bag out and hands it to the other customer, who ordered and paid well after I did. I continued to wait.
My paid online order, with pickup time of 5:32pm, was handed to me at 6:38 pm. I asked her what normally happens when an order is paid online. Her response was, “I don’t know. I had just got here when you walked up.”
While the food items are tasty, the customer service and wait time will likely deter me from returning again. So disappointing…

I just had the best fried chicken experience at Chick N Jones. I tried their signature hot honey fried chicken sandwich with southern slaw and a side of the famous sweet potato biscuit – both were outstanding. The chicken was crispy on the outside, incredibly juicy inside, and packed with flavor, and that drizzle of hot honey added the perfect sweet-spicy kick. Don’t sleep on the sweet potato biscuit with cinnamon butter; it’s absolutely to die for. On top of the amazing food, the staff was super friendly and happy to chat about their favorite menu items, which made us feel right at home. The vibe was fun and casual (set in a cool artsy neighborhood food hall), and you can really tell there’s a lot of love put into everything here – I’m already excited to come back for more!

What an amazing find near the Miami airport! Chick N Jones serves a diverse range of chicken dishes that are packed with personality and flavor. Every bite was delicious, and the kitchen clearly uses fresh ingredients. The owner, Amaris Jones, was incredibly friendly and seems to cook with her own taste and warmth—the result is a menu that feels as vibrant as her personality.

Went to Chick N Jones the other day! I just say the food was impeccable! The customer service was top notch and the atmosphere was inviting. Would definitely recommend anyone that is in the Miami area to go for lunch/dinner. You will not be disappointed!!

Bear in mind that this place is VERY slow. We had to wait around 30 minutes even though there was only one order ahead of us. Fortunately the bartenders inside TimeOut market makes pretty good drinks so you have something to enjoy while you wait.
That said, the food was worth the lengthy prep time. We ordered the Jonesing hot honey chicken & waffle and it was a nice blend of sweet and spicy (note: the spice level is very mild). The two pieces of chicken were perfectly cooked: crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. All in all, a very good meal.

Finally made it to the fabulous Chick n Jones at the Time Out Market in Miami Beach for the uber-talented, Amaris Jones’ fried chicken sandwich and jerk chicken.

Quality fried chicken being served up at Chick’N Jones! Love the pickled veggies that come with. A nice touch of acid to go with the crispy chicken. Just a note, Chick’N Jones is located inside the South Beach Food Hall (formerly the Time Out food hall). Definitely worth a visit!
