While I enjoy Chick-fil-A products and atmosphere, the store in Plainfield is lacking in service. It seems that when going through the drive thu, they are slow to get your oder to you. For instance, today (Saturday the 14th od December) I was the only car in the drive thru and I had a mobile order for a soft drink. While waiting for my order to be delivered, I observed the worker assigned to drive thru ignore my drink, which was sitting on the counter, go to the front registers and hug what i can only assume a fellow co-worker and talk to them. After engaging in their discussion, the worker assigned to drive-thru finally brought my order to me. Total time from pulling up to the drive – thru spot to leaving was about 4 to 5 minutes. I understand that people want to talk, just please deliver your product first then engage in conversion. I really believe that the “door system” in the drive-thru has slowed down the delivery of product. While I understand that it is a more personal way to do things, it needs to be looked at and refined for better efficiency.

It’s always packed. They do have a nice system to keep the cars moving. The reason I gave it a four star is because I’m from out of town and the bread seemed to be a little stale. Other than that the greeter that took my order outside was very friendly and that helped me enjoy the time that I was spending in Plainfield.

This place is a master class in fast food logistics. Was there for a 140 piece catering order on a busy Thursday evening and these folks didn’t bat an eye. Walk ins, drive through, online, Door Dashers, and catering orders all moved seamlessly. Really, a credit to the 41 people working there that night (I asked) for making it a great experience. Oh yeah, pretty good chicken too.

9:52 February 18th 2026. there was a corporate meeting in the back booths. That is totally fine. My meal was only ruined by a middle-aged blonde woman in red, who had the conviction glare at me and my response was to stare back and she became passive aggressive in regards to taking up space for that meeting. I’m very aware of how upper management treats their Latino staff But it’s even more apparent when upper management treats, Latino, customers in the same way.

I have been to Chick Fil As all over the country but this is the first location thats charged me for extra strawberry in my lemonade. Not a huge deal but there’s already an upcharge, and then you double it? I always ask for extra because many locations skimp on the strawberry. Don’t be greedy!

Earlier in the morning I picked up an order for Komets Soccer Club, and was impressed by how quickly the order was processed, and brought to my car. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We decided to visit after our son’s soccer game. I ordered the Spicy Biscuit Meal with Hash Browns and a coffee. The Spicy Chicken had a crispy texture with a good amount of spice, and it was cooked to perfection. The biscuit was baked perfectly, soft, fluffy and didn’t fall apart while eating. The Hash Browns were crispy and perfectly salted. Also, the coffee was delicious.

Good food for large catering! This location is crazy busy during lunch time, I’ve never seen a Chick-fil-A with so many people outside. There was a bit of confusion with the pickup but it was quickly resolved by Chase. Thanks for the great food!

Came through the drive-through today like I usually do weekly, Noticed there was a newer girl being trained by an older woman may be late 60s, The girl accidentally dropped a sprite by mistake. Older woman was so rude to her and said “this is why we can’t do this” and was also extremely rude to me about telling me to pull up and asking me what drink I had. Seems like everyone here likes their job but her. Everyone makes mistakes, felt bad for the girl.

Just stopped by with our wrestling team of 20 girls and the service was the fastest for each of the girls meals they came out within 3 minutes and the staff was very friendly.
