Underwhelming Reopening…

Sitting, waiting, kids huddled talking, no one greeted me or took my order. So, I pulled past the chattering teens to the menu board, said “hello” 3x, no response. So, I’m in the stand still assembly line of cars having not placed an order yet.

After getting to the window and being able to order, I was asked to park while they prepared my salad. 19 minutes later the salad was brought to my car by a nice young man who was very apologetic.

The experience was like being excited to see an old friend who’s been gone a long time, they finally return, but walk by you and don’t even speak. ‍

First time back since they tore it down. The parking lot is huge. The drive thru was backed up onto main road so went inside.
Beautiful open design with gorgeous lighting & plenty of seating with lots of updates. Family style table to eat, bar tops, regular seating. Each table has a barcode scan w/ #, I’m assuming for you to order from the table. We went thru the line. It went fairly quick. The employees were very polite, greeted us with a smile & very helpful. Brought our food to the table. The bathrooms are located in the back with handicap stall & 2 other stalls for the women & were somewhat clean & also have a changing table.
The heritage of Chick-fil-A is known by a beautiful piece of art on the wall with the beginning to what it is today. Very inspiring!
Then a play area for the young children enclosed with seating for parents. It has 2 levels with slides, puzzles & is netted. Not a very large space but enough for kids to play & have fun.
Food was great as always so no complaints there!
Only thing I didn’t see was an area for pickup which they could’ve used some of the parking spots for in that huge parking lot.
Still have traffic backing up onto main road is another downside!
Won’t keep me from ENJOYING CHICK-FIL-A

I’m totally spoiled by the mobile line now and this location has not upgraded yet.

Having to wait behind everyone ordering is too much lol I told the person taking the order I had a mobile order and she was so blaze’ not sure if she was stoned or not happy to be there but Urgh! NOT the typical employee (only one female taking orders at 8:36 on 5/17/2025. The gentleman handing out the food was super friendly! Very polite and genuine. The worst was all the trash in the floor in the prep area.

The grilled nugs were good and the diet lemonade did not disappoint- many of the fries didn’t make it home because they were fresh.

All in all it is a good experience.

The new building looks gorgeous inside! Service was amazing, as always. I especially want to brag on Adam. He was the kindest soul and always ready to have a conversation when you talked with him. His service alone really made our visit feel like a 5 star experience.

Occasionally we go in bit most of the time we use the drive thru. There chicken is one of the best in town. Closed on Sunday’s …open the rest of the week…always a line so be prepared to wait espically if you go during peak hours. The grilled chicken and egg white is fantastic!

Had a particularly good experience with this location a couple days back. Really good people there. Roads were bad with snow and I wanted to just quickly grab something for my family so we could focus on digging out. Ordered online for indoor pickup. When I arrived it was clear they were short staffed (understandably, due to whether). That said, my wait was very short and everyone who was there was giving excellent service. I think the manager himself (white guy with a beard and different shirt than others there) brought my food out, apologizing for my wait…but I felt he was crushing it with great service for the circumstances. I think the fact that the manager was so quick to step up and share the burden of line staff might explain why things were going so well.

When I got home I THOUGHT I was missing 12 nuggets, until I realized that it was me who made the mistake of not adding them to my order…so I’m giving Chick-fil-a 5 stars, but have to knock a star off my own ordering and, accordingly, give myself only 4 stars as a customer.

This review is specific to the Hamburg location. First of all, I couldn’t care any less about a new shiny building. I’ve been inside a Chick-fil-A maybe 3 times in my entire life. What I care about is the drive-thru. This is where this location fails. It doesn’t seem to matter which line you use (regular or app line), if it’s busy it doesn’t function well. It’s slow, clumsy and seems disorganized. And we have learned quickly not to use the app line at all. Both times we have used it we received missing items. In fact, one time I don’t even think it was our order. To make matters worse, on both occasions, I was given my food very early in the line. So now you are forced to sit there until the drive-thru clears out before you can leave. One time I had 13 cars ahead of me. So by the time I get home, we have watered down drinks and cold fries. What’s amazing to me, is how a company that literally perfected the drive-thru could fail so miserably at it. What changed?

Listen Chick fil a… I love your food. But this remodel is not cutting it… The mobile lane is a good idea. But if you pull up behind someone who has not yet received their order, even if you have yours you’re going to have to wait behind them. I ordered just an iced coffee and got it really quickly… Then waited 15 minutes for the people in front of me to move.

Ordered a 12 piece nugget large side of pickles. I got 3 pickles. A person should get at least one pickle per nugget so the young man told me he would gladly get me some more. Someone told him I could not have anymore. What????? It’s ok, will drive to Richmond Road and spend my 12:50 there. It does not seem to be a problem to get some pickles there.
