Dining inside feels warm and comfortable, and the atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. At the same time, the drive-thru is impressively fast and efficient Even during busy hours, the service remains organized and professional. I’ve used both options multiple times, and the experience is consistently excellent. Chick-fil-A truly knows how to deliver superior service every single time!

I can tell you this. The Shakes here are phenomenal. I bought one drank it and enjoyed it so much I drank another. AND for those who have diet challenges this is the place. The lettuce, tomato, and onions are tasty compared to some burger slingers who don’t think to toss the green pithy ends of the tomatoes.

I haven’t been to a Chick-fil-A in 14 months I thought today what the heck so I ordered chicken bowl with hashbrowns and unsweet tea. The hashbrowns were barely warm. Very soft. I got a cup full of ice and no napkins. I think I’ll wait another year.! I get it. It’s hard to find good help but that’s the basics. Hopefully my donation to the birds was appreciated lol

Always visit this Chick-fil-A when in town. Super friendly staff, quick to order for dine in, drive through, or mobile order. Food is always fresh and I’ve never run into an issue with inaccurate orders. Highly recommend this specific location in the Lexington area.

This is the 2nd time in the last month that my order was messed up. The first the order wasn’t even right on the receipt. This time they put Kim’s sandwich instead of mine and the spicy they did give me was almost black Both times I brought it home. I will NEVER waste my time, energy or money with them too much aggrevation

This location has really gone down hill lately. It’s a very convenient stop for me after pickleball or for a quick breakfast, but be ready to wait 15+ minutes in the drive through. It’s annoying and has caused me to stop at other places lately.

I come to the Chick-fil-A on Russell Cave Road all the time. It’s close to my job, which makes it very convenient, and for a long while it was my go-to spot for both breakfast and lunch several times a week. Unfortunately, the experience over the past few months has really gone downhill.

Lately, the wait times have been unusually long, not just during peak hours, but even when there are only a few cars in the drive-thru. On top of that, the customer service has become noticeably less friendly. More than once my food has basically been thrown to me through my window without so much as a greeting or a “thank you.” Or my pleasure. Even during long wait times no apology. I’ve worked at Chick-fil-A before, so I know firsthand what the standards are, and I would’ve definitely been pulled aside by a manager if I had treated guests the way I’ve been treated here recently.

My orders are also incorrect far more often than they used to be. Because of how rushed and dismissive the interactions feel, I rarely feel comfortable going inside to get the mistakes fixed, so now I find myself double-checking every bag before I even pull away. That slows the line down, especially when I’m picking up food for multiple people, but I don’t feel like I have a choice anymore.

Food quality has slipped too. My grilled egg sandwich has been burned several times in a row, and my chicken minis are often packaged carelessly, the rolls and chicken look like they were just tossed into the box without any care.

I really do hope this location turns things around, because I know what Chick-fil-A is capable of and I’ve seen the high standards they pride themselves on. I only keep coming because it’s the closest one to me and the food can be good when it’s made correctly. I’m just disappointed to see the decline, and I hope things improve soon.

Update: I went back to this location on Friday (6/20/25) for a last minute LARGE breakfast order. I went inside and asked about party platers. They offer party platters for Chick-n-Minis but biscuits must be ordered individually. (This is not a bad thing-just offering information) I ended up ordering two large Chick-n-Minis platters (40 each) and 15 Chicken Biscuits. The employee taking the order was super helpful (explaining options), friendly, and genuine. Since it was a large order she called it back in advance. The employee bagging the order said “For right now?” (with a shocked look). I laughed and said “Take your time. There is no rush.” I expected to wait a while and was okay with that. I had the entire order in less than 10 minutes. I was impressed and the surprise breakfast went over well at my husband’s work. I had to update the rating based on this great transaction.

Previous Post: We ordered ahead and went through the “Mobile Thru” lane. We followed the posted signs and pulled up in the second lane outside the window. We got “scolded” for not merging with the other lane. However, there were no signs or cones indicating that we should have merged. The chicken for the chicken biscuit was overdone.

Sat in the drive thru line for almost 25 minutes despite doing the mobile thru option on the app (supposed to be faster). Only thing I received from the team member when I informed him about my wait time was “yea sorry we’re busy”. I don’t think that’s very acceptable coming from what’s supposed to be one of the better fast food chains in the country. Do better CFA.

Chick-fil-A in general is always a pleasure to visit. Food is always consistent and delicious. Staff are very friendly and willing to get you refills or whatever you need. You really feel special when dining in. Drive thru is also quite fast and service is always superior as I have used both.
