We went in today for the first time visiting this location and the food was amazing and fresh yet the only reason we had a bad one star experience was the customer service. Our cashier I believe her name was Lauren or Laura was very rude. She said “my pleasure” but was not friendly and had a bad attitude. I’m sorry but out of every location that we have visited we have NEVER been treated the way we were today. Thankfully this is not our local Chick-fil-A or you guys would be loosing a customer. I’ve been to hundreds of chick fil a’s across the USA. But this location, by far, has the worst customer service. When I went to trade my 3 year olds toy in for an ice cream cup with cookie crumble, cashier Alexys, said, “I have to charge you for the cookie crumble.” To my surprise, I said okay but I’ve never been charged before. She said, “Every location is different.” I wanted to say no ma’am, only this location! Anyways, she goes to add the ice cream in the system, with cookie crumble, and the total says $0. So she proceeded to add that I had gotten chocolate, which I didn’t, and typed in COOKIE! So I texted my cousin who lives here in Horton, and she said they never charge her extra for cookie crumble. So did she just choose to charge me extra today just because?
Or does this location pick and choose who they’re going to charge extra to just because they can! We will def not be coming back to this location and I will be posting on other platforms!

Great food! But it’s always so busy you can expect to sit in line for a few minutes before you get your food. But it could be worse. They have a great system to get traffic in and out as fast as possible. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Always good, Always consistent. Ordered cool wrap…my current favorite with grilled chicken, lettuce, cheese and avocado ranch dressing to top it off! A very good light meal. Used the drive through fairly quick service.

This chik fil a in Guntersville AL is slacking and not even close to the standards the company use to require. The chicken is dry and small portioned. The bread is not soft. The fries are green or black and definitely not fresh clean cuts. The inside floors were filthy and slick. The tables are not being cleaned off anymore. Employees just look at you and ignore you when you’re waiting at the pickup counter for a refill or for waiting on food that was left out of your order. I waited 5 minutes while employees looked at me and was talking and joking with each other and was about to walk back and get my Mac n cheese they left off myself until a manager came from the drive thru to help. I Sat and watched 2 others stand there after me and was treated the same. I saw the 2 order takers (1 was Hispanic big boy and 1 was white girl) outside throw the printed menus on the sidewalk and then saw the boy even walk on the menus and neither attempted to clean them before handing them to a customer. This was very disgusting to see. I would hope Bob isn’t aware of what’s going on at his store and allowing this to happen. This was around 8pm when they were not that busy. This makes 3 trips and still the same inside filth and employees ignoring you. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE ANNOYING FLIES INSIDE AS WELL. Not only was it customers swatting at the flies but also your employees at the counter. This store needs to get its act together and not continue to let it run down.
UPDATE after my review:
The last several times we decided to give chik fil a in Guntersville AL another try has been very much improved. No flies, waffle fries were good cuts and cooked fresh, chicken was juicy and fresh tasting, buns were not dried out, and most importantly they installed smaller menus on pedestals at the beginning of the covered drive thru to view and done away with those stepped on and nasty laminated small print 8×11 menus. Yea!!!
I will change my rating to 5 stars from 1 due to the improvements made.

No flies, waffle fries were good cuts and cooked fresh, chicken was juicy and fresh tasting, buns were not dried out, and most importantly they installed smaller menus on pedestals at the beginning of the covered drive thru to view and done away with those stepped on and nasty laminated small print 8×11 menus. Yea!!!

This Chic-Fil-A is efficient with wonderful food and service. My biggest complaint is the way the drive thru is set up. It is a nightmare!! Other than that, everything is top notch!

Home of the wrapped drive thru lines (that customers don’t let people leave) and the black fries. Why would they serve this? Half of my fries were butt ends and one was literally black. What are they doing to make their fries black and why would they serve a black fry to a customer?

I knew I had gotten Chicken Mini tray for the holidays in the pm hours. When I ask for the item she said you can only get those in the morning. I said oh I have gotten them in the pm hours before she rudely said not here you haven’t. I said well I have gotten them before well I know you have never gotten them here. Never ever had a Chick Fil A employee so RUDE!
